Ter Stegen knee surgery ...
-
Gents,
Stories appearing over the past hour about Ter Stegen having knee surgery tomorrow.
Unknown recovery time, but likely to miss the start of the season. This probably explains the sudden influx of Neto purchases ... š¤
-
seen a fair few buys going thru and did wonder cheers
-
@johnboywalker Holy shit. Do i bid low on Ter Stegen or lump some cash on Neto. How long will he realistically be out?
-
-
@Black-Wolf mid November is the estimate

Reports are suggesting at least two months ...
-
Neto will soon be 50p+ then Iād suspect when people switch on.
-
Thanks, tucked in.
-
@johnboywalker thanks for the heads up only had enough cash to buy 50 Neto but better than nothing š
-
cheers for the heads up @AJH1982

I got some Neto as i have 150 Ter Stegen already. This might be an opportunity for Neto to put himself in the shop window
-
@chaps1988 I would have thought the same with Sportiello when Gollini went out for 2 months but been quiet after a small initial rise,
-
The plus with Neto though is that there was already some EPL transfer rumblings surrounding him, so now assuming he gets a couple of months of the new season under his belt, under what is hopefully a better organised Barca he will attract more interest. - the news articles below are probably bullshit, but there is probably more likelihood that a similar set of news stories will appear in Jan.
-
Surely he would be going as 2nd choice to either Wolves or Arsenal, I cant see him replacing Patricio or Leno/Martinez.
-
@Advinculas-Index There are a few rumours of him going back to Valencia and Cillessen going back to Ajax
-
it might not necessarily go to those clubs, im just making the point that he is likely to get some transfer spec on the back of playing for the next 3 months (unless he turns out to be another Karius or course)
-
Yeah dont disagree but there is a chance the window could be closed before Ter-Stegen even returns or he has an amzn=ing few months and displaces him as 1st choice.
Either way a good opition at his current price for a few months.
-
Aye - its a relatively low risk one i would imagine with the option to get out in early/Mid Oct perhaps as punters go for the IPD bids on a match day
-
@trig
The articles relating to Wolves will be re Pedro Neto not the Barca keeper š
-
Any chance Barca will bring in a better keeper on a 6 month loan deal or even a one year contract? Or is Neto decent? I've never seen him play to be fair.
This might especially be the case with there being a new manager coming in.
