22 years of age and will star for Russia at the World Cup this summer. Plays for Lokomotiv who currently top the Russian League. He is currently only 67p (but price is rising) in comparison to Golovin, the other young Russian hope, at £1.27. This is a no brainer for me. One of the few potential World Cup stars who are still good value.

Yes remember the hudo of favourites getting beat in the first game Saudi could be a banana skin

@NewUser128630 I see chalov the young CSKA striker for 45p he looked like an impact striker in the Europer league
-
@Mazza-magic I also have Chalov but he is one for the future. Very unlikely to start.
-
Trouble with Russian players is not many move abroad and it is very rare for one to be a success when they do move
-
@Comrade yeah they don't move very much. That is a turn off to investing.
-
But this summer they will be in the media eye more than ever.
-
Not for me, Bill. Avoid.

I really doubt this, but even if true it's redundant because they aren't close to the Top 200.
You're purely reliant on them for one or two single PB dividends which seems like a high risk low reward strategy as they'll be worthless after the WC.

@playingcards1 not if his performances trigger a transfer to a top 5 European League. That failing Locomotive are guaranteed European football and he is their star player so could attract suitors during the next season. I’m not saying he will be the next Messi but at half the cost of Golovin he is good value.
