If Utd won’t pay £108m for Sancho, why would they pay £150+m for Fati, who is earlier in his development?

Man U will want at least one statement signing and I could see them looking at Fati as an alternative if the Sancho deal falls flat. However, he would have to be a cheaper alternative, so do not expect it to happen as no way would Utd pay that much for him and I don't see Barcelona letting him go cheap.
Saw Dembele linked a few days ago which would seem more achievable to me if they are raiding Barca. I certainly hope so as I hold (although I don't hold out much hope as Utd are being linked with everyone at the moment).

i thought it was pretty done and dusted that Sancho was staying at Dortmund although having said that the latter have signed Reinier on loan. i don't think he is necessarily the same type of player but it looks like they are covering themselves in terms of quality youth. Theres not much time left for signings so whatever happens it needs to happen soon
