How to sell?
Just looking for a bot of advice on how to sell players. I have the option to sell now at the bottom of the spread of I can place an offer, but this can only be set at 1p below the top of the spread or higher.
How do I sell a player somewhere between the bottom and the top of the spread?
@NewUser677300 You can't
Just trying to understand then. Is the bottom of the spread set by what people have bid to buy, or by Football Index?
It is a temporary rule that came about in the aftermath of brown sunday
If you are selling 1 or 2 players, you can often get a bit more than the Instant Sell price. The IS price is an average, so selling a small number of players might get you 1p, 2p or occasionally 10p more.
Click on Instant Sell and you might be offered a slightly better price. You don't have to confirm the sale until you have accepted the price, so there is no risk.
It is potlock and time consuming though.
@NewUser677300 hopefully I can try and give you some advice instead of being a negative troll.
In short you have two options either bite the bullet and take what is being offered currently on IS; if you choose this option it’s worth selling small batches as you’ll find a better price than the one which is the average of what’s on offer.
Not an ideal solution but if you want out of player to move money elsewhere it’s your quickest option.
Second option is wait until the player does something that makes him worth someone else buying; an example would be Chilwell today his market sell price has gone up and people have been buying base on his performance. You could either list and hope yours sells, or watch the IS price and jump in when you see a decent offer.
Actually there is a third option sit tight and see what happens going forward, it’s likely that within a few months the market will be moving again and prices will be nearer what they were a month ago.
Are there any advantages to selling using the website on a laptop as apposed to using the app? For instance, can you offer shares lower than 1p below the buy price?
@NewUser672479 No difference
