A bargain or a sensible evaluation?
-
There have been a lot of interesting discussions about value over the past month, so here's another one. I'm poised over Aouchiche who may very soon dive into sub £1 territory. Do you think this is basically in line with his value (given the drop of bug guns) or a gilt edged opportunity just waiting for tomorrows rocket ship(sic)?
-
Don't get the attraction.
-
Could go either way with him. Maybe buy if you don't mind playing the long game with him. Don't buy if you looking for a quick and sizeable profit. He could probably do with another transfer next summer to become a more worthwhile FI asset.
-
Aouchiche or Cherki 🤔
One plays regular and is progressing with game time and also on set pieces.
The other is twice the price and more and keeping the bench warm.
At just over a quid he is most definitely value to me.
But its all about opinions isn't it😉

@NewUser469373 A bargain in my opinion. Plays regulary and is probably best player in a mediocre team.
He has won 14p in divs in 9 games plus some IPD's. At this price I'd say a bargain. I wasn't a fan this time 6 months ago but I have been in and out of him (OOER!!) a few times now.
Should be some profit in him somewhere down the line.
-
@Kipper72 A bargain?
That 14p divs was the luckiest thing i've ever seen. His highest ever PB is 142. That wouldn't have won on 99% of other days.
-
@NewUser395079 So you think when @NewUser469373 posted this when he was available at just over a pound he was not a bargain??? a couple of hours later his IS is £1.18. The question was is he a bargain. As there is already profit I think the answer is yes, at just over £1 he was a bargain at that price.
Plus he will get divs in 3 years whether lucky or not.
-
@Kipper72 most players IS price have gone up since then, means nothing. You just made out like he's smashing PB and likely to win divs all the time, he definitely isn't.
-
@NewUser395079 I think we are forgetting that Aouchiche has just turned 18 and what teenager ever posts big pb scores.
The fact he has done it already albeit with a mediocre score is just a bonus.
He is part of the youth bubble and since his ipo he has remained a lot cheaper than some of the other hyped youth.
Saying that i think i remember his ipo was screwed up big time🤔
-
@NewUser395079 It's a difference of opinion I suppose. I think £1.00 was a bargain at the time of the question being asked, he has peaked at circa £3. I have made profit from him a couple of times.
It would be intersesting to bump this post up in 6 months to see where we are at with him.
-
@Kipper72 Please do....
-
@NewUser395079 If I remember I will. What do you think he will be in 6 months? I'll go for around the £2 mark and having won a bronze/silver day or two.
-
@Kipper72 I'll go for not having won anything and around £1
-
@NewUser395079 not even cap app?
-
@Kipper72 nope. Might drop to 50p tomorrow.
-
@NewUser395079 It's all about opinions so let's re visit this in a few months eh😉
-
@NewUser395079 he may do. But that isn't 6 months time. Perhaps you may have a user name in 6 months but not tomorrow.
-
@Kipper72 I'll think about it.
-
@NewUser395079 Cool. Well I wish you well in your trading and hope you earn loads. Speak in 6 months then....
-
@NewUser469373 Well there you go, you have various opinions on him. I may be right, @NewUser395079 may be right, or we both may be wrong. That is what this forum is about, or at least should be.
He is a young player so 395079 is absolutely right to be cautious. However for me the swings in his value so far have enabled me to sell and buy at good times.
I wasn't advertising him as a PB monster, just pointing out that in only 9 career FI games he has returned some divs. Hopefully you will research him and come to your own decision.
