Please explain Average Offer Price

Hi everyone,
I've read all of the product updates from FI recently and I am currently valuing my portfolio on "Average Offer Price" which I understand is the average of all offers of a player.
But I don't understand how a players Av.Offer Price can be so high when you can't even offer that amount.
For example, Jadon Sancho's price right now is £8.20 sell and £8.52 buy.
Therefore I can only offer (in accordance with FI rules) up to a maximum of £10.02 (Buy price + £1.50)
However, it currently shows his average offer price at £10.63, which is 61p above what you can offer.
How can his Av. Offer Price by £10.63? What are they doing here to work this out? It surely can't be the average of all offers because you can't offer that high?
Hoping someone knows more than I do on this, can someone explain this please? Thanks.

Offers were made when he was a higher price.

@NewUser516192 Go ballsy and set it to mid price mate, its a more reflective figure what you could sell at currently. Id advise having a swift drink beforehand though.

The Average Offer Price is like walking into a strip club. You know it's not real, you know it's costing you money and that if you look too close you'll be repulsed by the fakeness of it all, but by god it's giving you a chub.
