Circuit Breakers?

Does anybody know why FI haven't introduced circuit Breakers to stop the rot?
Pretty sure I read something along these lines a few weeks back.
I think this would be a good time to do it.

@Super-Remedy they are only very short term like half an hour or so not for long term drops

Still think, FI know exactly what they are doing..they want the market to drop to allow for some serious investors to enter..

I think it's the complete opposite - they don't know what to do to stop the fall, at least with the current technology.

Ah! That's a shame. Think they should do it for a prolonged period, to calm the sellers down.If they cant sell, they can rethink about what they are doing. Then make a sensible decision.
I'm no expert though..just a thought.

Yes I think you're thinking along the same lines as me.They want the prices as low as possible to attract more users in the future.
A high priced player may put people off investing.

Ok trying to attract a serious investor or two but loosing hundreds of smaller fry along the way isnt going to help in the long run.

@Super-Remedy they could have so easily done a share split to ease the prices. Not a great day at all. Was about to add another £14k this morning, but after I saw my entire portfolio negatively drop that fast, I decided against it. Such a shame.

@Sol same mate been thinking about putting 2k in as apart of me tells me it will come back and will prosper from buying but now I’m at the stage where it’s a possibility of the index disappearing into the abyss. Annoying as I think it’s got such great potential

@Super-Remedy 19 player portfolio. Heavily invested in 8 players. My portfolio is nothing compared to some of the ones I’ve seen! I’ve always said 100k-110k and that’s me done. Not going to add another £1 if FI do not address this current market and restore customer confidence.
