Is this starting again?
This was the readon I joined, I listen to it every day in work.
It was always very positive the 5 min chat at 12pm, then the adverts throughout the day. It took me a year but it drew me in slowly, as I was into fantasy football at the time.

Adverts on the tele surfacing again too I've noticed.
-
@Roon good audience on talks port, people who are going to engage with it not just have a flutter then leave
-
@NewUser462188 Very debatable comment judged on most of the phone in callers...

@Shaun442 I thought Mike Dickin was brilliant. Liked Anna and Tommy too.

I love Alan Brazil. Reading his book at the moment. The breakfast show was always great when he was on with either McCoist or Parlour. FI had the odd advert, but otherwise didn't really used to get mentioned on their show but they used to have a slot later in the day.

Past 2 days heard a few adverts throughout the day 😎
Onwards and upwards 🤞🏻

Talksport was a main driver in the early growth of the platform. Not sure the 5 min slot on it was that helpful, fair to say Mikey B wasn't the best talker. It was the relentless ads that had a big influence and got my sign up.

Tv admit that got me. The thought of having real money in shares of real players was intriguing.

I think the word "virtual" is missing from the adverts and It implies that we own actual shares in footballers which is misleading. Also, there is not enough emphasis on the fact that it is betting.
2cents.

@strongy I don't see this myself, who in their right mind thinks you'd be getting a share of the actual footballer? and what would this mean, that you'd think you're getting a share of their career earnings? It's pretty clear from the game rules this isn't the case, it clearly sets out how you "win" money.
It's not like "investing" in poker players to win a share of any winnings they make from a tournament.

@strongy iv invested in a company that hasnt made profit or even revenue. its all betting...and even if they are making profit. also just say a companies profit goes up it means little. psychology of stock markets, bubbles, overpriced and economic downturns can lead to stocks falling
