Viktor Kovalenko

Cant seem to find much on this guy apart from a news story from December saying he'd signed a pre-contract with Atalanta - whats with the huge rise? Great to see some budget options rising at such a rate
-
@G27 been linked today to Atalanta
-
haha i knew youd be on the button with invested interest in Kovalenko
-
My biggest hold. Jumped on last season for his performances for Shakhtar in Europe in a PB friendly team (albeit in a non-PB League), on some penalties, first team for a decent Ukrainian generation - decent group at the Euros with Holland, Austria and Macedonia - and being in that final year of his contract.
Contract was extended for one year til summer 2021 and Euros were put back to 2021. Big summer for big Viktor.
-
My only concern with him is he's never really been a regular for them in recent years looking at his appearance stats on transfermarkt. Given his age there is potentially a move toa PB league there but I personally will be waiting and seeing at this stage given the increased risk.
-
@Selwyn last year he was
Injuries have hampered and this season he's been phased out, I think because they're aware he'll move at the end of his contract.
-
has he gone?
-
are you holding on him?
-
@G27 oh yeah, I'm holding on.
It's not confirmed. I've always found it a nightmare getting news on Shakhtar.
-
@G27 as he's dipping I've chucked some low bids in with some shrapnel
-
Fabrizio Romano has confirmed on Twitter that the move is happening "immediately". He tends to speak gospel on transfers.
Atlanta's midfield has a few PB hitters, Ilicic being the main one - 48p in the last 12 months. However, at 33, he might be getting phased out.
Between Pasalic, Malinovskiy, Miranchuk and Kovalenko, there could be some dividends ready to fly around.
-
It's done! Will be good to see how he does for Atalanta
-
when you look at someone like Dennis Man @ 63p who recently signed for Parma currently in relegation and compare him to Kovalenko @ 43p - and already has proof of a PB score (238 early last year) - i'd say hes underpriced even if he is competing for a place
