  • Do the index have right to have access to my last 3 months bank statements unredacted, my tax return?

    They're getting worse aren't they.

I've deposited absolutely nothing since september, only withdrawn and they asked me for my bank statement in december, was fuming. If i'm not spending, what business is it of theirs what I have in the bank?

If you don't want to give them, i'd maybe ring the gambling commission and ask them.

I've had nothing like this from any other gambling company, they are super nosey and invasive at FI. and they only seem to get interested once you start withdrawing.

  • @MUFC yep! They’ve suspended me putting any money into my acccount (not that I want to) coz I won’t send them a wage slip.

I thought you cheeky nosey bastards I’ve already sent you 3 bank statements my passport driving licence and NI number what more do you want.

  • @o_O i've had that from loads of bookies online. Very frustrating but no way around it

  • @Bugsbunnies no bookies asks you for what fi ask for.
You don’t even have to give what fi want to get a mortgage

unredacted bank statements? I've never been asked for that anywhere else.

  • @MUFC Have you deposited any significant sums during the period they're asking for? They may want to determine where the funds have originated from i.e. if it's a loan, they're within their rights to ask you to withdraw some / all of it. 'Responsible betting' and all that carry on..

  • @o_O Plenty of bookies ask for un redacted bank statements, selfies holding up your passport to your face, and with their webpage in the back round , something with todays date in the photo also like todays newspaper etc . Source of Wealth also the bookies try to use against you to not pay out.

  • @o_O no way are they having unredacted bank statements I have a business account which earnings go to and transfer what I want to personal, so in their eyes they have have access to all my business purchases which could be confidential, it's not bit that's not the point and my personal account. I haven't deposited in months and it seems since last week when I registered an official complaint with resolver over the lack of implementation over the 3 year bet and an email confirming that they are not enforcing it. They are breaking terms and conditions so I have asked for my deposited funds back and an account closure, for all the shit I've given you 😂 you were proven correct and I always said if proven right I would apologise to all doubters, the index is officially a shit show

Like I said, they only start getting interested in your finances when you start to withdraw. Grotty company.

It's not that they do it, it's fair enough, it's the way they go about it here. and why do they keep doing it so often. If you've proven you have the funds, that's it. Done and dusted. But no, they come poking around again in 3 months when you start wanting some back.

I went through it all in october, passed it easily, and since then I had deposited nothing and had a net deposit figure of about -£9k. So why are they poking around asking for bank statements in december? It's none of their business.

  • @o_O yea its infuriating, all i was saying is F.I are not alone in doing this shit, Ive had problems , with Betsafe,Betregal,Betvic,Campobet, Novi bet, and lots of others

  • @MUFC
they want my bank statements its just wrong. never had this much hassle moving money. they have us by the balls with this, its just a rancid operation.

  • @o_O
yep never had this with any betting company or exchange and ive already sent them more documents over than i was happy with.

  • @NewUser628679 yep absolute joke just lends itself to my claim against the index for not following t and c's and their complete ineptness at running a company, in their email they replied "we noticed you made large deposits in 2019 and 2020 and we haven't done the due diligence checks on it", this is 2 years ago and they only just notice? Talk about delayed checks which probably also break regulations, they seem to just do what they want...well not any longer after I push them for my money back, I will keep updating along the way as I've had enough of this shoddy shit show that is the index

  • @MUFC What on earth are you talking about? All bookies, casinos etc do due diligence checks, this is not a new thing and you have been on the Forum long enough to know this would most likely happen if you decided to withdraw! Can’t believe what I am reading, you are trying to get your full stake back because they are doing a due diligence check, get a grip man! I certainly do not agree how they go about it, but there are other companies just as bad! I would be far more worried if they were not doing these checks tbh

  • @MUFC lol does seem strange asking for such information. Just take the god damn knee already!

  • @Martin-M no you absolute weapon, they are breaking their own t and c's by not enforcing the 3 year expiry ruling which is turn will not encourage any trading, you can't have terms and conditions and use it when it suits you, they have a condition that a bet will expire after 3 years, that is not being adhered to and have had confirmation from the index saying it in writing, I will see what ibas has to say on the matter as to whether I have a claim to get my money back as a binding contract between me and the index has been broken, If I lied about my age or how I earnt money etc they would terminate my account so what's the difference with them breaking rules.

  • @MUFC I think it's a good point. Doesn't matter how small a number of shares they haven't expired, it's still the conditions of the bet that they are supposed to expire them.

They haven't, so there are more shares existing than they should be, and this affects their price.

Don't expect a quick response from IBAS though, i filed a complaint 2 months ago and have heard nothing yet

They have a job to do as per regulations set out by the folks who protect us from rogue companies (link beneath)

It can be annoying having to get the paperwork together but it is definitely for the better good.
