Future Stars under £2
-
Which players do you think will become £3-5 (or higher) over the next couple of years?
Is there any players under £2 with a huge future ahead of them?
-
I always thought Guedes at Valencia was the potential 'next Salah'.
But from press reports, it looks like he might be signing for Valencia permanently, which will aid his development, but won't help his FI price.
Having watched him several times this season, he is a world beater. He's one of those players that justifies the entry fee alone.
Its just the consistency he lacks. Youtube some of his performances this season and see if you agree.
I think I'm in love.
If he played in the EPL, I'd expect his price to be nearer 4/5 quid.
I bought in at him around the 1 pound mark, and I'm holding for the long term.
-
@johnboywalker you're not the first person to be a big fan of Guedes. A few people have said he is definitely one to look out for. Good business at £1...may wait for a dip in price before I invest after a recent rise!
-
Lo Celso could be another one
-
Obviously a biased opinion being a wolves fan, but I can see Conor Coady playing for England in the future, the way Nuno Santos had the insight to change him from being an average defensive midfielder / part time left back to the lynch pin of our defence has got to go down as one of his best moves of last season
I don't currently hold because I don't see any movement in him in the short term but I shall invest towards the beginning of next season as I can his price easily rising to £1 and then beyond presuming his career continues to flourish
-
Jean Kevin Augustin at RB Leipzig is my choice.
-
@Indexical he's a PB player I'm holding onto longer term. Already returned me 10% of his price in divs and has went up slightly in value too. He'll be great for PB next season I think.
-
@FootyIndexerLT Don't expect the price of him to go down. It could just as easily go up out of sight.
-

@johnboywalker Ha-ha that made me chuckle.
-
Anyone without Jean Kevin Augustine on their list......... go & give your head a wobble 😁
-
Not exactly a future star... because he's 30 already.
But Ivan Rakitic is circa £1.35 - yes I'm holding shares in him!
There is some media speculation that he could move to Liverpool or Man Utd this Summer, possibly as part of a deal allowing Pogba to leave. If so, he could double in value.
Plus he's at the World Cup with Croatia, in a group they've got a decent chance of qualifying from.
-
Their are loads and some dropping heavy
-
Under £2 is a HUGE range but my picks for each position would be :-
DEFENCE
Yerry Mina, never seen a strike rate like his from a defender (1:5), he peaked at £1.45 after rumours to Liverpool on loan. Could impress at the WC with Colombia. Currently £1.25MIDFIELD
Fabian Ruiz, can't remember why I sold him because he's a very good all rounder, only 22, picked up divs for Betis, destined for greater things. Currently £1.31 (marginally ahead of Benjamin Bourigeaud and Wylan Cyprien)ATTACK
David Neres, 21, massive future. Currently £1.69 (although if you're looking for value Insigne is still the boy - yeah I know he's over £2)
-
Lautaro Martinez. He just sealed a move to Inter today. He will shine next season. But it's a long term hold. This kid is going places. Bags of talent.
-
@SambaStar I'd wait coz I done some research and read the last unknown goal machine that went there with a big rep from argie didn't work out and he went home but good if he does coz he looks good what I watched
