Can someone explain to me what someone's PB Baseline is and how it is calculated?
@Spirit-cat so in my data set pb base is calculated as
pb score - (goals, gwg, clean sheet, win points) + (own goal, loss points) to give a base score. Hope that helps.
PB baseline basically means the average points you can expect the player each game.
It's difficult to get a really accurate number as on FI you get 3pts for winning a corner but I've never found anywhere that tracks that info!
I calculate mine differently to Noir, I don't factor in GWG or own goals as it's too unpredictable. But I do factor in average passes completed, tackles completed, crosses etc. etc.
@AT10 Ah no you misunderstand mate I remove the points earned for wins, goals, gwg and clean sheets. Which effectively leaves you with points earned from passes, crosses, corners, shots etc.
@AT10 so I basically have average pb which is just the average score per game and then base pb which has elements stripped out down to base performance.
@Noirx4 Ah, you've taken a player's actual score from a given day and then done the above. (Yes missed the - sign and read it as an =)
Quality work mate!
