Had to have a go at GK, so Ter Stegen(next German keeper) and Donnarumma(19ffs) are my choices. Good luck all.

I have a feeling this may end in tears for those buying GKs. I personally feel GKs will get ignored again. There aren't that many on FI compared to defenders, midfielders and forwards so why will they bother...

I can confirm there's no inside information leaked. I ploughed 10k into GK's about 16 days ago, I kept it to myself (as some on here can confirm) as I didn't want to be labelled for PnD or starting unsubstantiated rumours.
The bottom line is that this is a trading platform and we're all placing bets on the future outcome of numerous factors, including product upgrades.
My PF is up a huge amount and I'm not surprised by it, neither am I going to ditch them pre-announcement. Of course I've mitigated some of the risk by selling a few but no more than 5% of the one's who have risen. People I chat to regularly reckon I should sell about 20% which would be sensible however I've always found sensible a little boring :-).

For me the obvious and most predictable big name rises may well have happened, but the true value lies in those relatively unpurchased so far as mentioned many times above.
To this end, if you don't already, it might be worth trying @Noirx4 premium data product, even just to test it out... as he's sending out well researched data that will arm anyone in a big way ready for 7pm today.
If it doesn't go my way, c'est la vie and it was definitely worth a go! :-)

@NewUser159387 even if the predicted crash happens, they will only go back to what he paid I am imagining as he bought 16 days ago. id rather that scenario than buy 1000 of a top player and something causes him to drop like a lead balloon. serious losses. its why keeper wise ive stayed away from Alisson ederson etc, their drops will end up losing money as they are the highest ones. only my opinion mind you

The cynic in me is wondering if the market suspension is to combat the panic sell in GKs when the announcement is made. I hope I'm wrong, but worried we could see a huge drop in GKs quicker than we can say 'Arrizbalaga'.

@Metropolis_山の中の市 I bought in around ten days ago, so most of mine were bought around the bottom of their price. I think any that get burnt are the ones who bought handanovic at £1 for example, and he drops back to his original 64p that I got him at from around that time.

I only bought a couple of keepers recently to balance out the portfolio a bit...if their prices crash I won't cry(much) as hopefully the funds will move, in part at least, to my outfield players

I was going to buy Lafont then saw Ter Stegen... Went for Ter Stegen. I think he must be the only keeper thats down on the whole index haha! 6p in 24 hours...

Just sold him @93 having paid 70p a few months ago, was my only GK but couldn't look a gifthorse in the mouth might buy back when he falls back to 70p.

@parkins7 nonetheless, it's the end of November and the transfer window closed before the season started. That's shit admin. I got my keepers in a week ago and there was a lot of money to be made on him!
Sidenote, I'd be horrified for Napoli if they had properly replaced Reina with Ospina!
