Ramos

Drug stories, surely banned media as negative or am I wrong?....
-
You'd think so yes
-
Yeah why is this not removed?
-
@NewUser140313 worth dropping a note to Customer Services (if you don't hold Ramos shares that is 👀)
-
Smells like Hazard
-
Looks like the Ramos stories aren't budging
-
Even weirder is the scoring matrix, how is an article with the headline words such as 'failed' and 'drugs' with little else scoring over 100 points each!?
-
They will probs stay as it isn’t criminal activity and is football related
-
I hold Ramos. Hopefully he will win MB lol! Nothing proven?

It doesn't fill you with confidence in the MB system if these stories win it for Ramos.
-
This got Pogba 5p 2nd place in triple media yesterday. No.complaints from me but it's sloppy admin.
-
@Wilba his shithousery is criminal. Love him!

I'm a Ramos owner, but I didn't understand why these stories have stayed up there. However, I've just gone to the Game Rules, and see they've actually changed the wording about which stories they may remove.
Gone is the "negative stories" caveat, but the "non-football related" stays.
I posted on here previously about how important it was Ronaldo's MB was monitored, which would obviously still falls into the "non-footballing" category. And I can see why they've made it simpler and more consistent for themselves by removing the "negative" provision. Still feels a little wrong to be winning Divs over Ramos' and Pogba stories quoted above.
I saw mention on Twitter earlier today they were looking at cleaning up the rules document - presumably because of the new Dividend mechanics, so perhaps they haven't had chance yet and the Ramos stories are a little unfortunately timed - but really important they publicise when they change any Rules of the Game.

@Keegan's-Bluff rules are rules and that is fair enough if it is written down plain and simple, but over 100 points for stories about failing a drugs test then some players get around 20 points for being nominated for Ballon D'or, i think the matrix is flawed more than the rules. I remember Salah getting 240 points for a story about him retweeting a fans tweet, mental.

Media is media. Whether good or bad it's still a story! That's how it should be classified. Controversial, world beater, balon dor, whatever it is. That's the only fair way to do it, simple rules for everyone with no confusion! I'm not a Ramos holder but it would solve it cropping up every time there is a controversial story. After all it is "Media buzz"!
-
It's for this reason that my portfolio is made up almost exclusively of players under £5 who have no chance of MB divs, instead focusing on PB and also G&A potential (a metric based on physical acts rather than third party bias).
-
I hate Ramos so much that I can't not call him an a#$%#le but I'm scared it will give him 20 points!!
-
@Dan-w media is media you are correct and i have no qualms about that, what i am asking is why is negative media worth more per piece than positive media? For your point to hold then all media stories would need to have an equal score.
-
@Gasdean yeah I know what you are saying. I don't understand it either. There must be an easier way to classify the rules so there isn't any controversy. I'm not bitter about Ronaldo losing me days and days worth of mb when he got them rightly/wrongly took away. Honest!!!🤣

Hes back up there again just behind Hazard in the Table
it will be frustrating if it happens again as a Hazard holder
