Here’s a new idea. Holders and believers of Pogba, continue to hold him, and non-holders who don’t think he’s value don’t buy him. Everyone crack on with life and hope we all make money. Revolutionary I know but there I’ve said it. Feedback everyone?

If you open up the forum , virtually every topic is about relatively minor players being pumped with a 'Can't believe player X is so cheap/undervalued'. Or to put it another way pure pump-spam.

Pogba believers will hold and non believers wont buy but its roughly 1000 times more interesting to discuss whether or not he is a good hold than whether or not Joe Allen is worth 26p.

That’s true however when opinions are stated as fact and when it starts to get personal then, in my opinion, it becomes boring and futile.

@Londoner man, if ur 250 ish down on the pog, and similar on 3x others. U need a bit of a think.
I’m happy to ride out a 10 or 20p drop cos I’m 3 or 4 quid up on all of them.

    Are u in profit?

No. My port is nearly Β£6k in the red, but I have players who are in profit. Pogba, Neymar, Messi and Hazard are massively in the red. I want to wait until Saturday to see if the big traders start pumping into them for Media Madness. If not, there will have to be a major rethink of my port.

Sorry to hear you are 6k in the red. I hold none of Pogba, Neymar, Messi & Hazard so I'll be as unbiased as I can.

For disclosure purposes I have previously held Pogba, Neymar & Hazard.

Messi - I wouldn't go near, he's 32 & is transferring nowhere unless he goes back to Argentina, USA or China - all of which are terrible options. People who seem to hold him have had him a while, so are massively in profit. So when he does something spectacular they tend to use the opportunity to sell to the market on unsuspecting new users when he bags a hat-trick & you find yourself 10-15p a share down. Steer clear if you are a new user is my advice.

Hazard - I've bought him & sold him on for profit twice, but when the transfer to Madrid is imminent your obviously going to be staring at a loss when he leaves the PL. You should have seen the transfer coming & planned the escape route well in advance.

Pogba - this is an ongoing issue where you have to pick a side. If he stays he will go up in value, if he leaves he will drop in value. While the saga is ongoing he isn't going to be rocketing anywhere as people are unwilling to invest in bulk in such an unstable product at such a premium price. You either invest & reap the rewards if he stays or you are left looking at a giant red hole in your portfolio if he goes. It's a gamble, & only you can make that choice.

Neymar - he's been injured a lot the past 18 months & his price has held fairly firm. He's good at PB & has transfer potential to leave PSG, the downside is he's Brazilian & likes the party lifestyle. They seem to lose their motivation/focus much sooner than their European counterparts, & I'd be slightly wary of that - but saying that, if he gets his act together he should be a solid hold while the next world cup which is when I'd be looking at an exit strategy.

  • Not been watching the ticker much but haven’t seen a single Pogba sale. Has the drop been from instant sells or is there now just a metric shit ton of Poggers in the queue?

Instant sell would make sense if nobody is buying him. The spread is huge now too, which suggests FI are trying to slow the panic/profit from him.

  • @Ericali Good points. I've been holding on to these guys as it's MB season. I've just watched the EL Final, and Hazard has finally admitted that it's a goodbye for him. That is what I wanted to hear so I'll be getting rid provided that IS hasn't been disabled!

I held onto Messi just in case there is MB from his performances in the Copa America next month. It's a bit of a waiting game with him.

Neymar is always in the news. The latest I've heard is RM want to do a cash and player swap deal (Coutinho or Dembele). There's the Copa America as well, so I think there's still life in the Brazilian for MB. He's sure to win second place for MB tonight.

Pogba: I must admit I have no idea what is going on with him. Is he staying or going? Of course the media loves him which is why he remains in my port for MB season. If it is confirmed that he is leaving, then I will definitely get rid.

All in all, I stand to win 1,2,3 MB tonight as I own Salah as well, who's currently in the green (+32). Hazard has won PB tonight as well. My target this MB season is to win if possible, 1,2,3 every day and 1,2,3,4,5 every day during the Media Madness.

Is it worth the cost with depreciation in these 4 players? Saturday onwards will help me make a decision.

  • @Londoner single media today?

  • @Londoner Hmmm not all paying attention to an important final then πŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ

Saturday is 5 x media places and triple match day, it actually says that on your screenshot below that u just posted ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️

Yes, you're right. I always get this wrong! Now how about Saturday, the start of Media Madness? The table says it's also a treble match day because of the CL Final. Do we get a single media day or do we get 1-5?

Thanks, mate. I hold four players for the final (VVD, Salah, Moura and if Kane plays). I'm definitely paying attention! LOL

Kane even if he doesn't play I reckon... largely because that will be a major talking point. Either a master stroke or major blunder.

  • @Londoner was referring to Arsenal v Chelsea mate, cos u forgot it was a single media day 😁

I was paying attention at that match too. I was busy and missed the 1st half (goal-less, nothing missed). But watched the whole of the 2nd half (hold Hazard and Ozil). LOL.

  • @Londoner clean sweep on Hazard πŸ‘

I know what it says but I was asking the question since the whole purpose of Media Madness is to cover days when there is no eligible fotty. As what's happened in the past when CS have paid out for a single match day when it should have been treble. They might get confused and pay out for a single media day because Saturday is also a treble match day. Let's hope not!

  • @Londoner but its already been confirmed mate, the highest payout in FI history.. 5media places plus triple PB... so it's 100%

Yet another post about Maupay? If it’s not Maupay it’s Kane... although most of your time is spent on Pogba bashing πŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ

Sounds like I have a stalker fan!

Hang on. Just what exactly is your issue here. That I gave the forum some absolutely belting advice.

Yes, I've been preaching King Kane for months. Here's his graph. I'm sorry if you didn't get on board but at any point if you had, you'd be better off for it right now.

    0_1559137880425_Screen Shot 2019-05-29 at 14.50.37.png

And yeah, I told everyone to get out of Pogba... back when he was worth Β£8.30p. Today he's Β£7.41. Do you want me to apologise for trying to save people money? Most of my so called Pogba bashing came from a thread asking if you should "hold or sell". Sounds like you'd prefer it, if only the people who said "hold" replied.

I've moved on to Maupay. Why?

Because he's a super talented young lad who's outright prolific, will likely get a move to the Premiership given that Brentford finished mid table and at 82p he's 30+% up from when I started mentioning him and that's before the transfer speculation kicks in. If he rises another 20p over the coming months, he's been a truly great investment.

I'm not charging people for my advice, nor am I forcing it up on them. I like to find someone who disagree's with me on players, as the debate can often be enlightening which is one of the reasons I enjoy being on forums. If you aren't here to see other peoples opinions on players, why are you here?

    Sometime... things just work out...

  • @Dan-The-Man Brighton, Burnley, Sheff Utd & Villa won't exactly get the column inches.

But he seems a decent player, the gamble is whether he can make the step up to the PL if he is going to gain any real value from here on in

  • @Ericali Yeah, it'll be interesting to see if any of the bigger clubs react but at least a move to somewhere like Villa would see him play every week.

I'd prefer him to join Sheff Utd as I think they will be this years Wolves and he could probably top Jota's impressive season.

  • @Londoner I feel exactly the same. I think i would regret it more if i sold now, then in a few weeks to see how media madness pans out.

I may lose money holding on, but i don't have enough shares in him to be looking over my shoulder at the bailiffs.
