Anybody see VJ jump up and celebrate??
-
That's surely not a serious injury, they showed VJ run to the side of the pitch celebrating when Asensio scored, oops 1-4 as i write. Great nees for VJ holders anyway
-
His price is tanking at the minute, down 49p a share. š±
-
@Ericali he was70-80p down bout 45mins ago
-
I'll buy more VJ when his price bottoms out. Regardless of any injury. He is the future of that club.
Madrid were lifeless, predictable and lacking desire. It's time to change the old guard. Kroos, Benzema, Bale, Casemiro, Marcelo, Courtois ... they can all go.
I predict Jose will be back in a job by the end of the week.
-
@johnboywalker He has to be very unlikely to win his first ever PB or MB this season now, if Jose come's he'll probably never win one š¤£

Is this the same Jose who broke several records in his first season managing Real Madrid?
In the 2011/2012 season, under Jose, the team won a record 32ndĀ La LigaĀ title and finished the season with a number of records including 100 points in a single season, a record 121 goals scored and goal difference of +89, and a record 16 away wins and 32 overall wins.
I think VJ will be fine mate.
-
I hear he dislocated his rectum celebrating a consolation goal...the physio said Itās the āendā of him!
-
@johnboywalker Think that Jose is long gone, look at United's improvement (including PB) since he left. He's odds on for the job with the bookies now, not a fan of youth is he, he'll be playing wing back if he plays at all.
-
@johnboywalker come on johnny Jose dont like the youth!
-
Yep, even Rashford wanted to leave because of the way Jose treated him. Jose's old school management doesn't work anymore with today's players. Plus Real like attractive, attacking football.
-
@johnboywalker c'mon Johnboy.... Even with your love of stats you seriously can't be comparing the 2011 version of Jose to the 2019 version? š¤
6 month's is a long time in Football - never mind 8 years!
-
I wouldnāt be concerned. Mourinho to Real = VJ probably to the prem. Heās already shown his hand as one of the top prospects in the game.
What price would he be in the PL?
-
@Timothee-Atouba Brazilians don't exactly flourish in the PL do they?
Juninho 25 years ago šthen err... Gilberto Silva & Fernandino? š¤
Oh, I'll give you Coutinho as well...
-
Any comparison to Fernandinho or Gilberto is like comparing tea to coffee. They come from the same store but have no similarities!
When did a marquee Brazilian player last come to the PL? A flair player? Ok he may not be a marquee player in the true meaning yet but he would be a marquee signing with unreal potential.

The Djemba twins
Kleberson
Jo
Pato
Alves
Lol
-
Oh dear. I stand corrected. One player a decade ago (mid table team at the time?)
Good answer though.
-
Djemba-not Brazilian
Kleberson-DM
Jo-ridiculous
Pato-career already down the pan before his few sub appearances.
Afonso Alves-ridiculous.Iāve not argued that Brazilians have came and failed but letās be a little more realistic.
Itās like knocking a fav because favs have a poor record in that race.

@Timothee-Atouba
I was listing my favourite players of all time
Unfortunately I appear to have put them into the wrong thread š
