Zidane back at Madrid!
-
To be confirmed later today. They might be out of champions league but surely he’ll nut them all back in to shape! VJ Ramos and Isco I’ve topped up on.

How did you hear about it? AIUI Mourinho had already agreed terms??
-
Feel like I want to invest in Madrid players but when I look at each player logically, I still don't see a lot of value. Isco will likely stay and for me he doesn't warrant the £5.30+ price tag without transfer rumours. Just got out of Bale last week as I don't see where he will go (although there is still a good chance of a move/transfer spec) majority of their other players are too old (in FI terms) or not good enough. Better off investing in their summer transfer targets for i reckon!
-
Zidane wanted Bale sold over Ronaldo, do the maths...........
-
@NewUser184847
Asensio at 438 is decent value, as he'll either form the basis of the team going forward, whoever the manager is, or will get a big transfer & MB.
-
Well that was a waste of time sacking him eh!!!?!
-
@gball1975 I thought he resigned?
-
@TheSleepingGiant … nope you are actually correct but still a waste of time even though I'm sure his bank balance will make up for it.

I disagree. It is an incredibly shrewd move by Zidane.
He resigned because the president did not give him the assurances he required or the backing he needed in the transfer market to breath life into an ageing squad that had peaked and was about to lose Ronaldo.
If the reports are correct, Zidane returns with far more clout than he previously had. He will be guaranteed a massive kitty for new players, I'm almost certain of that.
In fairness to the president, at least he has the ability to admit his mistake and beg Zizou to return.
This can only be a good thing for Madrid. He is respected by all the players and the problem child (Bale), will be gone in the summer.
-
@johnboywalker Not denying it is a good move but just seemed a waste of time from Madrid's part.

Ah right, I must have misunderstood the earlier post. I thought you meant a waste of Zidane's time.
But yes, definitely a massive cock up by the president in letting Zidane go.
-
@johnboywalker No not by ZZ, he must be laughing... I would be.
-
@NewUser159387 I had a notification from sky sports saying it was to be confirmed today at some point

if this happens then it is egg on Jose's face when he flirted with RM last week by saying that their squad was great. He left Madrid with a toxic atmosphere and boring, functional football. Jose is damaged goods.
-
Anyone know Zidane' opinion on Hazard. That might be the big increase.
-
That's it confirmed.
Zizou is back. Appointed on deal until June 2022.
-
-
Bit surprised at Isco price rise then fall. He’ll be good for PB and I still think there will be links with a move away in the summer. I’ve bought as part of my preparation for SS as he’s gonna look dirt cheap then at roughly £1.36 a share?
-
@Barkez_86 Everyone will look cheap when their price is divided by four, that's a rubbish reason to give for buying a player.
-
I sold my isco to market and loaded up on bale.
