Is there much value in hoovering up players whose contracts expire next June?
Fearing it might be hit or miss, but if a player is in a pb league and signs a new contract, would you expect an increase, a dip, or no movement at all?

if your looking at players who might be moving out of pb leagues i doubt there very good and worth much so no-one will be interested.
If you're looking at someone like martiial staying at united then yea its worthwhile maybe altho im not sure the rise was that big and the potential downside might be worse.

2 players that I’ve picked up due to this exact scenario are Hector Herrera and Yacine Brahimi, both at Porto currently with contracts expiring in June and both have made it clear that they will move on. Both internationals and decent players in PB leagues could be interesting. Both are < 45p.
Brahimi has Everton links, Silva knowing the Portuguese market.
