Pep wants Maguire πŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ

  • @Andy-M I know what you mean but I think there putting two and two together based on Kompany. They have Stones and Laporte, would maguire want to fight it out with these two with euro 2020 next year πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ. I rate him above Stones but think Maguire will know he would be no.1 at United

  • @Shippers Yeah certainly hope so, I think he'd be mad to go to City, United will be soon back in CL if he cares about that, for any traders holding him he'd certainly rise more going to United too.

  • @Andy-M defo. I'd like to see him at United. Shame Jones never properly filled his potentional but think we will do all we can to get Maguire. I'd like to think we would be back in champions league after next season.

  • I think the pull of playing under one of the best coaches in the world, for the current champions, and playing champions league football would all persuade him that playing under Ollie in a team in turmoil would be a bad move. Leicester have a similar chance as UTD to capture a European spot next season so why move sideways or down when you can move up to the next level. He may not play every week but as a player he will know competition for places and world class coaching will improve him as a player.

  • @Earshavewalls stop talking garbage, did nobody ever tell you that Manchester United is one of the biggest and most famous football club's in the world, going sideways or down, unreal.

  • @Earshavewalls I dont disagree Pep would make him into an unbelievable player but to think United is a sideways move is easy to disagree with. I appreciate we haven't been at the races in last two months but no way moving from Leicester to United is a side way move especially if you're going to be the no.1 centre back. United still have European football and with an aging vardy, having to replace Maguire, no gurantee Tielsman is going to return, Leicester instead of United is no way a sideways move. I'm not discounting Leicester and Maddison/barnes will come on again next year but they will have to spend in summer. Look at West ham this year, doesn't all pan out how people think it will

  • @Shippers It's a big chance that Maguire, Maddison and Tielemans will be playing elsewhere next season, and that's just the 3 I'm expecting to move, could be a few more.

  • @Andy-M History mate ,I am well aware, have you not heard some of the best players the PL has ever seen,UTD players, and their take on the current UTD side. Even one of the best managers the PL has known couldn't get them to perform and ended up down the road. Unfortunately we can all cream it up over our teams performances in the past but then have to face the reality that the current team won't live up to that. So its not unreal its reality I'm afraid. Leicester, Wolves and Watford havn't the history of Utd but current squads, workrate and performances put them bang in there with UTD as EL contenders next season and if UTD fail to get it sorted they may well overtake UTD. The days of players signing for Utd because of the history are done.

  • Can't understand the counter arguments. Pep is clearly amongst the greatest managers to ever walk the Earth. Ole had a decent run but without a doubt, I know where I'd sooner play next year.

As for Man Utd, any signings turned out well lately?

Why risk being the next guy half the country hate when you could be the next guy to win Premiership?

  • @Andy-M Might go to UTD they need a better quality squad although I still believe they would be better off at Leicester given that Rodgers will have the Summer to install his game into the Leicester players and make a few signings. Pogba and Rashford maybe.πŸ˜†πŸ™Š

  • I believe they say you're only as successful for the amount of trophy's you win so ole is as qualified as Klopp if not more than potch as he has won the Norwegian league more than potch so he came in with disbelief, man utd had new manager syndrome. then the troubles arose again. now market open there will be movement of players leaving couple coming in and the youth will have a chance of breaking in with more success as I reckon give him till January the rate him with the jan budget if targets not met at end of season and depending on preformances.

SACK OR CONGRATULATE end of season!!!
I'd like to see if he has got what it takes to make utd naughty again????

  • @ScousePilgrim better off at leister lol he’s wages would double at man city or man utd

  • Looks like a transfer saga awaits πŸ’°πŸ’°πŸ’°

  • Could just be city trying to raise the price so maguire cost united more, one way or another looks like maguire will be in the news and a British defender record🐝🐝🐝

They’ve been going sideways or down for six years to the point where they’re licking the boots of their two biggest rivals.

  • Jesus is anyone actually talking about Manchester United or how they've performed in recent years???? I'm not stupid, I'm aware of the team that's most likely to win the premier league at the moment.

I'm talking about the size of Manchester United compared to Leicester, I listen to TalkSport daily and every single ex player says that nobody would turn down the chance to be part of a club like Manchester United, why do you think players like Zlatan and Henke Larsson came to the premier league for short stints, just to say they've played for Manchester United.
There is no other team in the premier league that could underperform for 6 years and still keep growing in stature, Manchester United are miles behind Liverpool and City on the pitch at the moment, but they are still by far the most powerful club in England, and probably the only team that can attract big names without CL football.

I'm not arguing City or United... I'm arguing Leicester or Manchester United..... and a certain person saying Manchester United is going sideways or down.

I think Pep would play John Stones just in front as defensive cover, dropping into a back 3 when both full backs bomb on, he's already tentatively tried that a few times. Either way it looks like good news for Maguire holders however it finally pans out but could definitely see Leics cashing in now, if only to provide Rodgers with the funds he needs to build a team in his mould.

  • @NewUser309532 Man city good move ,man Utd bad even if wages are doubled. Utd is a gamble for any player as it could be a career wrecker. Sanchez is a good player and has had his career ruined at UTD and Rashford is in danger of the same. Sanchez will rise again at any club.
