Don't play the racism card... are you kidding me.

The Brexit Party's slogan may as well be

    "We're not racist... but..."

But... They man you are calling racist married a German 🤔

But... Wants to expand globally & open up our borders to the world 🤔

But... The Brexit party has the most diverse section of candidates of any UK political party 🤔

    But apart from that...

This result shows a deep distrust of those parties that are supposed to be enacting the will of the people (but only 51.89% of the people).

The population is roughly 66 million. roughly 47 million are legally allowed to vote which is around 71%. With around 72% turnout that equates to 51.3% of the population who voted on the referendum.

Of those who voted, 26.6% chose to leave and 24.7% chose to remain. Please somebody correct me if my numbers are way off.

Within our democratic society without going into any detail of the structure, net positives or flaws that is contained within such an institution, obviously the leave vote won.

Just as the brexiteers take issue with the language 'going over a cliff edge', don't 'the people' take issue with the language 'enacting the will of the people'? 26.6%. The will of 26.6% of the people, doesn't quite have the same ring to it as a vague, general, yet emotive, 'will of the people'. you know you 'good people, bad establishment', 'that bad establishment think you good people are thick'. That 'bad establishment' that for the most part have stopped us swinging between socialism and fascism like many a country has fallen prey to before us. Is that coming apart at the seams now?

Gaslight your electorate, charge them up. But in the process make sure to keep it empty, keep it vague. How many of the 26.6% voted for a hard, no deal brexit? The easiest deal do do in history we were told? Empty, pointless language. Just as informative as bending over, pulling their trousers down and letting rip with the rankest eggy fart you ever smelt into a microphone. Just pay attention to
ann widdecombe when shes on the tv, you will notice a striking resemblance, a person who looks like an arse and sounds like a, rank, eggy fart.

Was disappointed you kept your post on demagoguery so short and sweet, you strike me as the sort of person who would be a good history teacher. Light hearted and a lot of fun. Sorely needed in these times.

Quite right. What this boils down to is, as you rightly point out, a deeply flawed process for determining a required political outcome by outsourcing it to a fractured electorate using a vague question and then back up by the rankest and eggiest of all farts...the subsequent Leave and Remain party battle buses!

Result: Polarised Society that deems itself qualified to comment of the most complicated of Economic questions who are fed facts by Bitter swilling fatuous demagogues, bumbling Etonian "old School" Tories, a bicycle riding Michael Foot impersonator and someone so despicable that he married a Daily Mail columnist!

@Ericali as for the Apathetic vote, yes you're absolutely right. The middle class Remain voter stayed at home and presumably considered that the rest of society would take care of it...i mean come on...it would be like Donald Trump becoming president, what right minded person would let that happen...only in a two party state right!?!?!

Leave voters, it appears are prone to rabble rousing demagoguery "I don't want to ruled by Brussels" or dare i say it "Stop immigration, coming over here and doing the jobs we don't want to do"

All the last vote proved was that after deciding to act we then fucked about so much that we all thought we should show them what arseholes they've all been.

  • @Ellisandro if only them middle class remain voters hadn't been staying at home being smart eh.......

    "Damn you smart middle classes!"

I can imagine Alan Partridge saying something similar while shaking his fist 🤣

Oh well... I guess you can't possibly profit from racism if you marry a German.

We should just forget all the overtly racist things he's said and done, whilst ignoring the fact that he pockets £35k per month for spreading the hate.

I agree with that slogan - take back control of our borders is one of the main sticking points why 17.4m voted to leave.

We don't want to stop everyone coming in (that would be stupid!) but we don't want an endless stream who we can't turn away due to the EU's open door policy.

I don't care how much he earns either - he's worth every penny if he gets us out the EU 👍

We've always had control over our boarders. We used that control to open them up and as a result, we are massively better off for it in every way possible.

The slogan isn't the worst part of this picture. Nigel used it because he knew it would stir up fear and hate. It's outright racism. He's profiteering from hate.

Firstly, why is it any of our business where someone else lives?

And secondly, this country has made absolute fortunes out of immigration. Why do you think we opened the floodgates in the first place?

@Ericali You seriously need to find a girlfriend. Or if you have one you need to give her a seeing too. I stopped writing on here like 200 messages ago and your still at it, have you been hired by Farage to be one of his internet trolls or something? You could've gone to uni and picked up a bachelors degree in politics in the same amount of time you been on this thread haha

Haha 🤣 oh err, I have a wife & she gets a good seeing too - thank you very much.

You say you stopped writing 200 messages ago, but are still lurking in the shadows reading the posts, probably frothing at the mouth in anger - maybe you should heed your own advice & give your girlfriend or boyfriend a good seeing too 👍

    Let off some steam Bennett!

  • Give it a rest Ericali
