How do dividends work?

I read that dividends are only paid for a month but I have received dividends on players I've held for much longer - am I missing something?

@Dakofsta99 IPDs are only paid for the first 30 days. MB and PB are paid for as long as you hold a player.

@janner73 I'm guessing IPD refers to performance dividends, but what does the I stand for?

fella, you've invested real money here. Doesn't matter if its £10 or £30k you need to know what you've invested in.
If you're being serious and not on a wind up, please look at the guide on the main page. The link will explain clearly how dividends work and you can then buy players with an idea of how they will earn you money
