Media coverage - live rankings
I have recently started with FI and would like to know how the media coverage is calculated.
I have a particular player whose has only received two media coverage listings on Live Ranking. I read the media rankings on https://www.footballindex.academy/media-dividends/ which lists the recognised news feeds and the particular player on the following news feeds: Daily Mail, Daily Star, Football365, Goal.com.
Can someone explain why certain articles are not considered for media coverage points?
@NewUser373597 sorry as well as ESPN.
@NewUser373597 Nobody chooses which articles make the MB, the articles our automatically taken from the RSS feed.
The article must contain the full name in the headline. For example "Messi scores hat-trick in Copa America" will not be recognised for MB, however "Lionel Messi scores hat-trick in Copa America" would score MB points
It gives one name players like Neymar an advantage in terms of winning MB divs. The story "Ronaldo, Messi and Neymar fight it out for Balon Dor" would only score points for Neymar and not the other two
Also the player has to be in the top 200 to be eligible for Media Buzz
