@Martyn-B couldn't agree more. I was going to buy in a little while ago but thought his price was a bit high. Was worried he would end up as a sub at Liverpool. Much rather have him as a starter in Germany!

There are links to Turkey however it appears Southampton are quite keen to offer a contract. Fingers crossed as a holder a move to PL happens.

@Dobby thanks the update. Yeah turkey wouldn't be ideal although doesn't seem a logical move for him. I would actually rather he stayed in Germany than the prem.

@Dobby Thanks for the info. I used to have 300 and sold all for a tidy profit. Recently bought back in (first time for me) with another 100, so not much at stake and was mostly curious. I got burned by the Banega to Turkey story last week which was my first big loss. No money till end of week so I will wait and see,but happy to hold.
Also feel he may be an IPD target player like Vardy and Suarez, with price fluctuations with every game and goal.

@Martyn-B he is a textbook IPD. That's why I have bought in now early. I'll sell and re-buy when the season starts. His record last season makes him a 45-55p player at least.

Anyone have an update on his transfer as his price is still falling at quite a pace. The only link I can see to turkey is one by a Turkish football blog.

I have been looking into him lately as I also hold and from what I can see his most likely move is Frankfurt but Southampton are said to be very keen too.
The Turkey story comes from the fact he has already turned down Velencia and Newcastle But has not turned down Fenerbahce as yet.
One thing for sure is he is free and he will be moving somewhere.
I am not worried.

Turkish sites and Fenerbahce fans are all over twitter saying he's signing for them. Based on some airport picture his agent posted with destination Istanbul.
All seems a little tenuous still.

Wow down to 33p incredible....i want to buy back in... He will double in price come start of season if its any pb team. Would he really go to Turkey when he's in his prime and got offers from Premier league and bundesliga.
I don't like the turkey links tho so think I'll just have an eager eye peeled for any sign of upturn

I guess the problem is that the guy he would replace in turkey, slimani, is 27p. And if Kruse goes he’ll fall to that or less.
While the news about going to turkey is weak, there’s nothing any stronger about him going anywhere else.If I was holding it would be in my interest to raise the price, just in case I had to get out quick

@Ringers I think the frankfurt links are pretty strong. Also he has stated he wants to play European comp (I think... Maybe it was the veiled 'I want a new challenge'... But many reports refer to him saying he wants Europe,which soton and fenerbahce can't provide but frankfurt can)

linked to China now so dropping a little more. This is too tempting for me... im going in! It is a risky punt, but at 31, the type of character he is id like to think he wants to stay competitive and relevant. Money talks tho - so if he doesnt get a good deal from frankfurt or EPL team he will be off and worthless.
The risk is high but the reward... a 30p player worth double/treble that easily if he joins a pb team! £100 for 300 shares seems like a fun bet.
