    • RE: Granit Xhaka

@Millerman-again fair enough that a captain should be a strong leader.

However, do you not think that your statement is exactly the reason why there is such a big problem with mental health in the male population?

A full wallet, does not protect anyone from emotional distress or mental problems. If he was mental issues then he should be able to speak up about it like any other man with mental problems on this planet.

    • RE: IPOs Incoming!!! Let's Do This!!

It can hardly be as underwhelming as the last two, when they released the promoted players for horrendous prices.

In the end every IPO draws money out of the market and that might open up opportunity to invest into proven players again, which value increased 👍

@ChazFI123 Not a Liverpool fan myself, but don't understand how this possible be Karma.

A lot of fans are complaining that football is losing it's emotions and players getting distanced. And here we have Klopp who is pure emotions for the love of football. A man who is absolutely real in this football world.

UCL match day 4 is coming up next week already. All top5 teams except for French or Spurs are currently in their 2nd out of 3 double game week. Toughest 2 weeks for Dortmund with manager in the hot seat.

Easiest week ahead for Barcelona especially after having a free weekend with their match against Real Madrid being re-fixtured due to the issues in Catalonia.

    • RE: Champions league fixtures

Match day 5 is coming up next week. Most teams will try to either secure their spot in the knock-out stages or secure the favorable first spot of their group, for an "easier" draw in the round of 16.
Bayern Munich, Juve and PSG have already qualified for the knock out stages, with PSG and Munich only requiring 1 point in order to secure the 1. spot of their group. Equally 1 point should see Real Madrid and Spurs secure the runners up. Juve requires 3 points to secure 1 place.
In group E and F we will potentially see a showdown for the 1. spot with Liverpool v Napoli and Barcelona v Dortmund with Salzburg or Inter hoping to capitalize.
Group G and H are still highly competitive, especially with the "hardest" Group G, where everyone is still in the run.
Looking at the updated transfermarkt formtable. Liverpool remains the top in form team. Most noticeable increase in form for Chelsea, also Barcelona and Juve picked up slightly. Spurs form has been even worse seeing them last in table and sacking Pochettino

    • RE: Team of the Week

Team of the month or positional player of the month be great. They could combine the PB score of all PB eligible games within the month. So not necessarily a player who won Gold on Match 1 will get the Monthly win as someone could consistently score better.

Player A: scores 350+ wins Gold and score's 3 more 100 scores giving him a total score of 650+
Player B: scores 4x 200+ winning him positional player of the month with score 800+

Then add some rule that player must have been held before the first of each month or something like that

    • RE: Paco Alcacer is back @ £1.58

I kinda struggle to see the value in Paco at the moment. He doesn't get great PB scores as he is a poacher and finisher. He will most likely not feature in the international break for Spain after just being back from injury. However, he still has 6 games in his 30 day IPD window. They aren't really favorable though.

      Wolfsburg (H)
      Inter (H)
      Munich (A)
      Paderborn (H)
      Barcelona (A)
      Hertha Berlin (A)

@Antierror said in Champions league fixtures:

Match day 6 and midweek games came around bit quicker than my time schedule allowed. So with a bit of a delay, the schedule for the next two weeks. The French and English teams were in midweek action while the remaining Top 5 league, got to rest their players.
8 teams are already qualified and 5 have even secured the first spot. Group winners: Barcelona, Bayern, Juve, ManCity, PSG. Runners-up: Real Madrid, Spurs.
Leipzig is also qualified, but undecided on the spot yet. Group E & H are still battling out the 3 spots with 3 teams having the chance to qualify with only Lille and Genk already out of the race. In the groups C, D, F and G there is still a tight battle for second spot and Europa League qualification. There is a high change of the qualified teams resting players or playing youth. Especially with the cramped schedule in the leagues, teams will be happy to give squad players a run out. ManCity, Spurs and PSG will mainly appreciate the rest.

    • RE: Emery sacking

Why should Nuno do this to himself? No disrespect to Arsenal but Nuno has a stable environment in Wolverhampton. He get's the player he wants, he has the close ties to the Portugal fraction and get's more players in that direction. Wolves aren't expecting him to finish top 4 and are happy for him to build his style and team.

Besides the fact, that the matrix sheet could do with some structure.

I wouldn't mind a winning goal bonus for assists. The assist can be equally as important in a winning goal as the goal and should be awarded some extra points compared to a normal assist.
