    • RE: Buy/Sell price gulf?

      @Foolandhismoney The ''buy'' price is the average price of the lowest 900 units available.

      The ''sell'' price is supposed to be the average price of the highest 300 units traders are willing to pay. In practice though a look at the depth chart will often show that there are not 300 units at this price.

      Both buy and sell are set by traders so the ''gulf'' is between what traders believe someone is worth and what other traders are willing to pay.

      Hope that helps!

    • RE: Mbappe posts a 400+ score. Who else has?

      Thought this might be a good question for the Data Centre;
      Gnabry 483, El Haddadi 455, Ilicic 454, Neymar 448, Mbappe 424 & Rodrygo 413. These all include the CL / EL multipliers though.

    • RE: Seb Haller

      A player's buy price is calculated by the lowest 900 shares offered by current owners. So whenever it drops it's because those owners have placed offers lower than the current buy price. Hope that makes sense!

    • RE: 21/12/2020 IPO’s

      I'm so disappointed about the pricing of Wirtz, he was one of the guys I was really looking forward to being IPO'd but can't bring myself to pay so much for him when there are proven dividend winners for cheaper.

      A couple of points; IPO's have traditionally been above market price as it could in theory help raise prices across the board, for example, Amiri at 57p / 79p looks incredible valuable to a new user when comparing to Wirtz. but this only works in a growing market.

      Secondly & more positively it makes me think FI really can't need the capital, otherwise they'd go back to the very old 25p IPO price and let the traders push the price up whilst replenishing their coffers.

    • RE: Aguerd / Dias /amavi highest bid?

      Ruben Dias? One share for 82p bid, for 100 it drops to avg price of 75p. Don't hold the other 2.

    • RE: Remind me again why this is better/more fun then a traditional bet..?

      @OneBigHoliday Apologies, I didn't mean it to sound like I came in and dropped £15k day one (I wish!!) I started with £100, approx 3 months later when PB was introduced I went for a 45min swim and came back and said to the Mrs I think we should put in £2k, from there it built up over time but I fully admit my portfolio was increasing in value all the time and there was the safety net of instant selling back to FI so it was much easier to justify putting more money in.

      Today I would have to be more cautious but I fully believe that if anyone can afford to put money in & leave it here they could easily build a portfolio that earns a substantial return month on month. Especially when I consider that both my savings accounts have written to me to inform me that my interest rates are being reduced to 0 or next to 0!!

    • RE: Remind me again why this is better/more fun then a traditional bet..?

      @OneBigHoliday So to simply answer your question from my own personal point of view / experience;

      On FI I've been able to SLOWLY (over 3yrs) accumulate a portfolio of players who now regularly return me £1000 per month, I have a balanced portfolio (possibly too diversified) and so believe this will continue for a good while now. I've never had more than £15k of my own money in here & that was to maximise a bonus offer and it was a very stressful time & I quickly got back to what I felt I could ''afford to lose // have tied up for a good amount of time.''

      It's given me a love of all the top 5 leagues, I have favourite clubs from each one. I love when the teamsheets come out so I can see which of my players are starting and I love following the matchday PB table and seeing my players do well. I also love waking up to find one of my players has sntached MB with a 11.30pm article :-D

      I can now do all that without risking another penny (unlike traditional betting) so that's why I continue to love FI :-)

    • RE: Confusion

      @NewUser166320 So I believe the plan is that eventually you'll be able to see in your portfolio the expiry dates, at the moment as far as I'm aware you have to manually download your transaction history and filter in excel to find when you bought them (a bit of a pain!!) Let me know if you need further help with this.

      Just to give you a general heads-up, not sure if you remember from last year but this is a normal FI cycle with regards to selling / buying (admittedly amplified by the product changes) lots of traders cashout before Xmas and there is always a massive promotion in January to bring in new traders. So if you don't need the money then I'd sit tight at least until the end of international break.

    • RE: Confusion

      Just to answer one of the points probably not mentioned elsewhere, FI aren't terminating shares at 3yrs at the moment, so I wouldn't worry about that until closer to the time.

      Yep I've been paid as well, it's the right amount for a Barrow PB win even though my history says ''Dividends_Media.''

      Hey mate, great to have you back!! Hope fatherhood has been treating you well!

      You've haven't missed much while you were away :-D

      I still keep my own spreadsheet but for anyone who can't be bothered or isn't so analytical I would highly recommend Noirx4's work, you'll make the £2 back over and over simply by seeing the next PB star before the crowd.

    • RE: How bad are spreads really?

      @Advinculas-Index Apologies if this has been answered elsewhere but is there any way to check the top bid when you have the shares in the sell queue? When I click on the IS price I get the message ''you don't own that player,'' I do own them, but there in the queue and I don't want to remove them just to check!! :-D
