I was dreading a DB or cashback or some other forced market simulator. I have had a really poor November, down decent cash but 8 months on the platform I'm up 48%. The market needs to find itself again, not be constantly kept alive by FI intervention, I lost money as so be it, I need to learn how to trade better and not be bailed out. This announcement is so much better, I want new users not current ones flinging 10k in for a month and then crashing it out again. Best thing we can all do over Christmas is at the many parties we will be at is start talking about it, show your port on the app, profit returns etc etc. push FI out there and this marketing campaign will drive the message home.

@Harmonica Everyone is entitled to their opinion and certainly pull their money out but we live in an era of hysteria. Nothing is going well it is either amazing or rubbish. Yes in a week, my port has dropped 3% and I'm not happy but 3 fucking %. In 6 months I remain 51% in profit. I am not entitled to make money, this is not Willy Wonka land. Seriously have a think about what you have been expecting, deposit some money, click a few buttons, pick up IPD, PB,MB wins, wait 3 months and then post a shiny 100% profit post.... It cannot happen like that or we would all be doing it.
Flip this the other way, instead of FI being the hungry b*ç%&ds, look at your trading. Was the top end looking over-priced for a few months. Was it bad trading to go after some of these holds? Am I just jumping on Twitter pumps? Am I doing enough of my own research? Have I tried to spot upcoming trends? Maybe this isn't relevant but it certainly is for some people.
Bottom line is, if people want out then go, I have already recovered .52% from my lowest port value last nights. Seeds of recovery are there. What have I learnt, think smarter with my port. I was too greedy on some holds and should have got out earlier when value was gone. I had a browse today and the market is buzzing with value after some big shifts. Yes FI team need to review this week and see where they are letting the product down but trades need to get a dose or realism too. Just my opinion, everyone welcome to theirs also.
RE: Why no announcement?
Why should FI announce anything...? This announcement bollix is all twitter/forum/trader rumours. Am I happy with how the last 10 days has gone, NO. Close to 2% down in a week, without having really made a 'mistake', just money seeping out of every player I hold regardless of performance. Everytime I log in now, money down. It is really pissing me off. But 7 months in I'm 42% ROI, its not a ticket to print money, there will be ups and downs. It's a gambling platform, right now you are losing, either cut your losses or hold firm and wait for the inevitable bounce back. It's an incredible platform and will repay your faith in it.
RE: Leon Goretzka
I hold and no worries with him. Goal and good PB score yday. Rebuild going on at Bayern during the summer. German international and quality player. He will be a mainstay of the team next year and finally will reward us with 90 min PB scores. Confident of good profit from him. Patience.
RE: Don't forget the Swiss!
Switzerland are a machine of a team. Individually none of their players are stars, Shaqiri being highest profile. He is a different animal for them. Has delivered some really big moments over the years. Xhaka is the general of the team, driving them forward from midfield. Seferovic up front will score goals but not prolific, having a great season at Benfica though. The team has been together for 6 years and have built themselves into a hard-working and tactically well drilled side. The rest of the squad is made up of what appear average players on paper but are actually all very good performers that make them a strong unit. Schar, R.Rodriguez, Akanji, Sommer all good players. Embolo is a powerful wide striker, was linked with United 3 years ago but tore his knee ligaments and hasnt come back as strong. Bags of pace & power and potential to score. Look out for Kevin Mbabu, just recently left YB for Wolfsburg and he is a great attacking right full. Be very interested how he gets on next year with them, could be an assist machine.
RE: Sub 40p players list
Just bought Mohamed Fares after doing some cheaper end research. 23 years old Wing back, 2 goals this season playing for SPAL. Has AFCON coming up with Algeria this summer and has serious links to bigger Italian clubs. 5 mins research will show several links to Napoli, Lazio, Fiorentina, AC Milan. 30p low risk, potential to rise if picked up by one of these bigger clubs.
Transfers Under the Radar
With yesterday's announcement, the big boys of transfer speculation got smashed. Big rises all evening. It got me thinking about some of the less big name deals that might go on during the summer and with 5 places being paid, these names may not win 1st/2nd but during their moves, will surely place in top 5 (Some of them are not in Top 200 yet). Also as they are cheaper, better ROI and good chance of cap app resulting from their moves. I do now hold a couple of the below but interested in getting some more suggestions as cheaper transfer player can really lead to cap app profit!!
Che Adams - .97p 20+ goals, Birmingham need to sell and PL links
Marcus Thuram - .91p Decent season but Guincamp relegated. PSG & Arsenal links
Xaver Schlager - .53p Top prospect, Manager just left for Germany and may take him aswell. Moves to PB league.
Florien Tait – .37p Solid links to bigger clubs. Nice PB base score at Angers.
Hector Herrera - .45p Leaving Porto on a free, Links to PL & Athleti, will move to PB league.
Rodrigo Hernandez – 86p Big links to City & United, quality player, pass machine.
Brahimi - .49p Leaving Porto on a free, Links to Everton, West Ham. Good winger.
Some of the research that I have done, plenty more out there....
RE: £20 to £100 challenge
@Jonah Ye totally agree, United best player the last 3 months, went under the radar as United were shite. If he can add goals to his game, his PB scores will improve. Posted a few weeks saying that of all the United youngsters sitting miles ahead of him price wise, he will be the one who defo makes the biggest impact this season. Potential captain in the making. Will play 30 games this season easy.

RE: Possible value players under 80p.
comfortably under the 80p mark is Nabil Bentaleb 42p. Frozen out at Schalke, he will leave in Jan with Weder Bremen & AC Milan the clubs being linked. Set pieces and potential peno taker at new club. Hasnt played in a long while but should be capable of PB scores when he gets going. Can see him being 20-30p higher with a move. Worth a look.
@Indexical Sane's 6 month graph is incredible. Higher now than ever before the injury. Depay is going to push as hard as he can to get back for the Euros, there will be lots of rumblings that he will make it etc etc and this will continue to drag his price up as we get closer to June. If he makes it, he explodes, if not, he'll drop slightly and the rise will come in August for the new season, Im similar to Sav, its a hold for me and take the gradual rise rather than chasing the money and potentially making bad decisions to lose more.

RE: Why December is a good time to buy!
Still in my first year on FI so not been through all the cycles yet. One cycle id like explained is this 'January will rocket' idea. How after Christmas when everyone has spent a fortune on food, drink and presents do new users find cash to join a completely unknown betting site and launch thousands into it. Are most people not forever moaning about counting the days till end of Jan for their salary to arrive??
RE: January transfer moves thread
@NewUser366897 he will most likely move to a club of Everton/Palace/Marseille/Schalke level. look at their strikers value., why would he be higher than their current strikers price. This is a typical transfer hype trade. Check out Che Adams price graph as a perfect examples.
RE: HWAH Podcast - Topics and questions for this weeks guest🎙
The market is going through a difficult time at the minute, alot of traders seem to be repeating the same thing that their port is crashing. Most of us are ok with this, knowing that January will be a massive month, historically January has been very successful for FI and the planned marketing is a 'huge' positive for all traders.
If we look at the above abit more glass half empty approach. January is flat, traders dont see a market lift and more money is being lost. Where does FI go from here, do we keep saying the next month will be the big one? Do traders start to pull out further deflating the market? Have we potentially arrived at market peak and its a slow stagnation over next months, especially with new shiny toys Sportstack, Footstock being released to the market.
***Not trying to cause panic or relaying any fears, just genuinely would like to hear an experienced view on if the current 'amazing, incredible, we cannot fail, its rockets rockets rockets' marketing pushing doesnt have the desired results.
RE: Planning on buying on this recent dip.
I really hope he doesnt sign it. He has been on fire the last 18 months, lots of clubs would be interested especially after a strong Euros. The MB would be crazy and then to end up at a high profile club. Depay looks such a sound trade right now.
