    • RE: Is the market price now pointless?

@Wiillaah why though? I successfully sold both Haland and Havertz to the market yesterday - if your players in demand it should be easy to market sell. If you player isn’t in demand - why are you tying to sell them? If it was such a bad investment that not a single trader will take it off your hands, at a discount, then why should FI buy your share back?

Don’t get this “FI have shafted us” mentality - if you can’t shift a player don’t blame it on FI, it was clearly a bad punt. They have no obligation to clean up your mistakes.

    • RE: Is the market price now pointless?

The value of our ports hasn’t changed - it has always been the case that in demand players will be easy to sell to market, and players who aren’t in demand will sit in a queue, until they are. Now however, there’s an additional way to sell, back to another trader, if you really need the money - however this is your choice to sell and accept a loss, much like the old IS.

The only way your port has dropped is if you have no patience, you aren’t prepared to wait in a queue, and you accept a lower bid - which is the same as before covid when you Instant sold, and people still measured they’re ports value on buy price not IS and didn’t factor commission.

    • RE: Anyone hit their PB...

The same, but as I hold Pog Sancho and a few other media guys who are rising, it’s understandable.

Not a brag as I realise there are some much bigger fish out there, but I’m £100 off £10k total profit and I’m hoping it’ll reach that milestone this afternoon 😁

I’d throw a party but I’d be the only one in attendance.

    • RE: Was fun whilst it lasted

Even if my players never reach the highs of a few months ago, I still love watching the match day rankings, checking the media standings, and waking up to dividends. Yeah, the port value isn't what it was, but had this money gone into skybet, it would all have been gone very quick.

    • RE: Which player is still to rocket?

I think Rashford looks great at the minute - on a massive dip but mainly due to Uniteds form, he’s had a great game tonight and finally stuck away a penalty as well as a wonderful free kick, nobody will be budging him off set pieces and if man united put a run together I don’t see why he can’t close the huge gap between him and sterling, he’s got mb potential and you’ve got the euros as a cushion next summer as he’s bound to feature. Really reckon he’s a safe bet.

    • RE: Am I the only one here who could never let the missed know how much I have invested in FI

Mine is actually fairly engaged with FI - she knows the level of investment, the only thing she cant get her head around is where the "profit" has gone recently 😅

Didn't want to go into the intricacies and just blamed the Rona 🤣

    • RE: Feedback Wanted: Buy/Sell Buttons

I have to admit like @MrWh1te I too thought this was a wind up.

I've been here a while, the watch list has never ever worked properly (deleting cookies wipes it, no functionality with the app). The forum logging in issue is quite annoying, and the fact the apple app, android app and desktop are all completely different. The ordering of our players in the desktop port is another irritating issue.

Now I was under the impression we were getting a whole overhaul - We have a beta site in development don't we?

I feel to be asked for feedback on something as insignificant as the colour of the buttons is rather insulting when for years we have been giving feedback on the many many issues FI has. It seems non of these issues (some of which I'd thave thought would be quick fixes?) are being prioritised over the colour of the buttons

The constant stream of tech issues that have been listed on here of course will worry users, but what worries me more is that the order or the sell and buy buttons seems to be the big issue?

    • RE: I am out... Good luck FI Traders

You've probably entered the market on the biggest dip we've ever seen and we haven't properly started the recovery yet. You'll also be leaving in the middle of an international break with no football - surely if you wanted out you could at least wait till the next gold day? 🤷‍♀️

It sounds like you've made your mind up, but I'd urge patience, this has been a very rocky couple of months.

Good luck whatever you decide 👍🏻

    • RE: Is the market price now pointless?

The point of this thread though was that our ports have dropped overnight - just wanted to point out this is only true is you need the money out so badly you can’t sit in the queue and have to resort to IS, which is the same as it was before covid.

It makes sense to me that higher value, more liquid players, are much less risk because you’ll always find a buyer.

Someone like boyata, despite winning Pb, is surely a risk as he’s fairly unlikely to win it again - so why should FI cover part of that risk?

The beauty of lower value players is that you can get more shares your money, and make a bigger profit if your punt comes off - it’s a bigger risk, because it’ll be harder to find a buyer - but again why should FI cover that risk?

    • RE: March bonus/announcement wish

@ScouseSte Don’t be sorry for the negative vibes, it’s hardly a “panic and pull your money out” post, the forum needs healthy discussion!

For me, the fun certainly hasn’t stopped, but these offers are certainly diminishing it. I totally echo some of the other sentiments in this thread, the recent offers have caused me to trade less. The fundamentals of the product are brilliant, I have no problem with offers but the amount of offers and complexity of offers is putting me off.

Every time they say “Big surprise coming! 🚀” and follow it up with another offer that takes ages to digest it creates an anticlimax - and I’m not just hoping for a deposit bonus, it could just as well be positive news on Nasdaq or new territories, but instead it’s this super match day bullshit.

Perhaps us on the forum are the minority and everyone else eats up these crazy offers?

@CLACKETT I know I'm more likely to lose my whole stake at a traditional bookmakers than with FI.

@thelossadjustor I'd be interested to hear that, how much money do you think it will take specifically? Have you let the guys in FI towers know how much it will be?

I have about 7k in and look for 2%-3% per month, anything extra is a bonus.

Until a few months ago all divs were being reinvested but recently I've been withdrawing everything to try and get to zero net deposits. Itll be a long road.

    • RE: Rashford PB?

Its clearly not a conspiracy, and its correct the right winner is paid out, but that doesn't stop it making the match day rankings virtually redundant and taking the fun out of match days completely.

    • RE: Who's staying?

I'm staying put - after three years it would be mental to sell up and leave now with the market in its worst state.

Yields are fantastic and I firmly believe its a brilliant product that will find a way to turn the negative sentiment.

    • RE: 3 year bet

I have shares over three years old - I have recently been in dialogue with CS who have assured me they will not expire as soon as it gets to January 1st, but that we will get ample notification later in the year of when they will expire.

I wanted something in writing incase my three year old Alex Sandro's disappeared without my knowledge.

Love him 😍 he always plays with so much passion and he's electric when he's on it. He's also racked up a huge quantity of games for such a young player. Thanks for the divs Marcus 👍🏻
