He’s a solid young full back but I don’t see any outrageous talent that renders him the most expensive full back ever and one of the most expensive signings of all time.
If it means no more Ashley Young however then I’m all for it.
Yea his MB increase will more than offset any loss in PB - Looks likely to be in the top 5 for the rest of the promotion and will continue to sweep up following on from that.
He will also spike massively off the back of any injury to Messi.
i tend to steer clear of the defensive players as i feel they are riskier, maybe just my mad logic. In terms of Bennetts there was a big article on him recently hence the rise, it seems hes getting his act together however ive heard bad things about attitude and also had big injury so i chose not to buy.
instead i looked at
Herbie Kane 42p.... after the season he had and how highly he is regarded i cant believe he is still this price and also that he wasnt considred for the england youth set up
George McEachran 54p....captain at youth level and great prospect and only 18 years old
Marcus Edwards 60p...i think its only a matter of time before he comes on the radar, plays in perfect position for FI
McEachran is out of contract this summer so could get interesting
I actually can’t see any club paying the £120mil + It would take to sign him - take away his penalties and you not only have an inconsistent performer but also bang average stats.
He is a long way off being the Ballon D’Or contender you’d expect for that kind of money.
Tactically he is an awkward one too - still don’t know what type of midfielder he is supposed to be. Graeme Souness gets a lot of stick but he is right in a lot of his criticism.
Because he is toxic - If Mourinho couldn’t handle his personality I doubt that OGS will fancy it.
He is also massively inconsistent on the pitch and a lot of managers would prefer the funds to build a completely new midfield of their own.
I don’t expect it to be quite as high as the post part 1 drop. It is logical for money to be taken out at the end of season (part 1) and logical for money to be pumped in prior to the new season (part 2).
Of course the deposit bonus has encouraged many users to put in a little more than they can afford so naturally some money will be taken out but this will soon be offset by the new season influx.
I’d predict a 1-2% drop on the first day followed by a stagnant week or two and then the new season growth will begin.
