    • RE: Just gone through the top 100 players and only 1 player of value

@Tom7471 Do you just expect players to increase without any correction? Its normal in any market

And surely if you are seeing players take a dip, that means there are more players that are of value, based on prior price points... or have i misunderstood??

    • RE: Kimmich

Kimmich is a player which divides opinion on FI.

But lets face it, he has shown he is unreal for PB both at RB and Mid.

With Thiago potentially leaving, he will be move important for that team and will get more time in mid, controlling the ball and play.

With TOTM, he is one of the top beneficiaries, due to his consistent pb scores, he will almost always be in the running.

Considering he is 25, plays for germany so will go deep into Euros/WC, plays for Bayern, who will be a powerhouse in europe for years to come.

If TOTM gets a slight increase today, expect him to rise.

    • RE: Market Manipulation

@Dr-Jan-Itor I don't think having IPO's at higher prices is much of an issue - it stops people making a quick buck and other people getting burnt. If you don't think that player is good value, don't buy.

I think really cheap IPO's cause more long term damage for FI and its reputation than higher priced IPO's. More people were affected negatively with cheap IPO prices. Imagine you are new to FI and invest in IPOs because everyone says you can make easy profit and end up losing hundreds. That would put me off

As FI gets more established, it becomes more and more like a conventional trading platform, where you need a bit of skill and knowledge to succeed, if you are silly enough to buy IPO's without researching and identifying the true value, then yh you should lose money.

    • RE: Not the best start to FI...what do I do?

FI operates in cycles. The current cycle seems to have money moving into the more premium holds etc.

If you have a reason for buying the player, and still believe in those reasons, then sit tight and be patient.

Often times patience seems to be rewarded on FI...

    • RE: Jude Bellingham to Dortmund

@Ericali I see your point of view and defo agree its a risk.

However, considering Germany will likely be one of the next markets to join FI and with the possibility of pooled liquidity the lack of MB could be resolved. (no guarantees of course)

Agree its not the prem, but he's still moving to a PB league, with more chance at game time then a move to a top 6 prem club. (however, i guess a pb league move is already factored into his price even before todays rise)

It would defo be a looong hold and tbf the move hasnt even been confirmed. But i still think he has room to grow, esp with the crazy rises of late

    • RE: Advice needed... How to make room for Sancho?

@kristiang85 i know what you mean and i try to never buy at peak - but imagine the MB he will get in the summer. Bruno cleaned up and Sancho is a much bigger name.

I honestly think he will be close to £10 at some point and given his age, he is likely to return most of his price in career div.

This is just my opinion as a non-holder.

(Its either him or grealish that is on my watchlist)

    • RE: Calvin Stengs - The Next Dutch Superstar

@Neil2265 I tend to agree with you and I usually stay clear as well. But thought i'd yolo it and try it with Stengs for the game later. risk vs reward. If he has a shit game then he may drop 10p... but if he scores he may increase 30-40p

    • RE: So then what happens?

@TeamGB lets not get it twisted that Sancho is an absolute elite youth player. He is 20 and easily has a career that spans 13yrs.

Even if he doesn't go to united now, he still has one or two big transfers throughout his career.

He has already shown that at 20 he has a great media appeal and has scored 17 and assist 16 in the league last season. Those are great numbers for a player in the prime years, let alone at 19/20.

His can easily return his current price in divs, even if they never increase in the future.

To call him one of the worst buys on the index now is ridiculous.

    • RE: So then what happens?

@Archer22 No way will this impact FI decision making around the div increase/review. At the end of the day its all speculations around Messi atm. There are so many hurdles to get around for him to actually come to the prem.

FI are looking at the long term growth of the platform and getting it ready for sell orders, which they need to introduce in a booming market.

Why would a 33year old Messi impact the long term decision making?

1m into him is great news for FI and if anything justify a potential increase in divs.

    • RE: Still a good time to get on Mbappe?

@Heinstein i have to agree with your argument mate.

I can see why people are a bit sceptical, regarding his current PB output. But if Neymar leaves, Mbappe PB scores will increase, he will also most probably be on pens. Plus he's already shown that he's not bad for MB.

Given his age, plays for France so will go deep into euros/WC, and potential for at least 2 more transfers in his career (maybe even to prem)... whos to say he wont return his price in career div.

Not to mention opening up MB to European sources, as you mentioned. Its the world class players that will benefit more, and Mbappe will defo be up there.

Sancho has also stretched the market, so under 9quid for mbappe doesnt look too bad now.

Has convinced me to join the Mbappe party, will start topping up and use bonus money too.
