@G27 I was on the fence but I don’t like it. I have invested £2.5k and was about £800 up before the match engine. All on cap app but doing research and buying and selling at the correct times. Now suddenly if I sell all my holds I will pretty much be back to level. Very poor I think as all the time and effort seems to have gone to waste. Purely my opinion but my love of finding players under £1 and watch them increase has become a lot harder. The lower end of the market seems pretty irrelevant now. I would go back to the old way in a heartbeat. Again only my opinion.

I’m still on the Ruben Vinagre band waggon. Bought 950 shares at 79p. Really think he is going to be mega. Obvious pump and dumps have occurred in the last week but I really feel for a mid to long term hold he could fly.

This guy is a sure fire profit maker. Currently £1.06. Scored in his last 7 games. Started and scored for Spain last night so will definitely go to the Euro’s. Costa injured at Madrid so will lead the line for the next 3 months. Can see him getting up around the £1.70 mark. La Liga and Champs league will surely help too. Thoughts?

Just a few ideas to stimulate the market/outlook. Not sure if either are viable but thought I would throw it out there. (Not intended to get negative responses but I’m trying here!)

1. Issue everyone back their shares at their buy price. Deal is that you aren’t allowed to take the money out of the platform for a year. You reinvest but the first players you buy are not IPD eligible.

Or 2. Issue everyone double their shares so that at least when the market rises the loyal customers have an incentive to stick around?!

Possible?

So this is my port. £3k invested and was about £900 up before the changes. After months of adamantly deciding I wasn’t putting anymore cash in I folded and put in £50 and spent it on reducing some of my spreads. Is this the only way out or would you hang tight? Sensible advice appreciated, thanks

I hold 900 Ruben Vinagre at wolves. Long term hold but his potential is huge. One to watch I believe 👍

@Kanzz Long term I think they are very good holds and I was up at least 15 percent in all of them. I have no interest in selling yet. However picking these players and gaining capital appreciation which has been my successful strategy so far has now become a lot harder. My question which doesn’t seem to have been answered is whether or not the market will come back to these type of players otherwise it is pretty much pointless them being on here

I understand it’s a strange time at the moment but hopefully we will get football back on Saturday. To that point I have invested 500 shares in Weston McKennie when he was 84p. Currently up to 94p. He looks a class act in my opinion and was wondering/hoping for a big rise in price in the coming weeks. He was class in his last game against Hoffengeim and scored too. Looks built for the Premier League. What are people’s thoughts on him? Good buy? See potential?

@Dan-The-Man Really interesting. Thanks for taking the time to reply. I have been trying to sell high and buy low. Managed to do it with Kouame for 100 shares. I may just keep trying that method over the next few months and top up at low prices if and when I can. I think when I have a cash balance I may have to change methods and go for more pb based players. Think the Way the market is now a lot of sub £1 players need a rule change to get the market flowing again

@CLACKETT my theory was always to go for Capp app. Like I said, was about £900up in just over a year based purely on that system. Better than a bank! Bottom line is I am stuck with them now and trying to figure out the best way forward

@jonathan-rolfe yes he has a bit of everything. Needs to get forward a bit more and add goals to his game. I’ve held him for over 6 months now. Gone under the radar I feel

Two f my holds I think are underpriced. Amrabat at Verona is an absolute baller. Only 52p and going to Fiorentina in the summer. I think he has a bit of everything. Got 800 shares in him. Another Fiorentina player of mine is Kouame. Got 1000 shares in him at 88p. I think Amrabat has a good chance of steady capital appreciation but I think/hope the Kouame could rocket over the next year or so. Fingers crossed.
