    • RE: Spread sheet

@Harold007 Hi Harry, as @Wilba says, we have one free to download that covers everything - your portfolio, ROI, monthly analysis, Media and Performance Buzz winners, Trades and a dedicated section for keeping track of in-play dividends and your player's eligibility!

You'll need to create a free account on our website first, but once done the updated user guide can be found at the following link: https://www.footyindexscout.co.uk/public/article/footy-index-scout-free-football-index-spreadsheet-user-guide-v3-in-play-dividends

      Hope that helps :)

@Jonah Our free Excel spreadsheet has a dedicated IPD sheet that keeps track of how long you've owned shares in a player, which you might find useful :)

    • RE: Women's football

I would guess the reason Manchester City Women appear on the team search is because back in the day (August 2016 to be precise) there actually was a female player promoted to the first team under the old voting system which saw Stephanie Houghton promoted alongside Mohamed Elneny.

Considering that when players got relegated they rejoined the squad list, I presume she must have been removed under the rule of not playing in any of the eligible competitions during the preceding calendar year.

    • RE: Football Index spreadsheet??

@Uncle-G Hi mate, When we added in the IPD tracking, we wanted it to be flexible in how people would use it - for instance some only use it for the IPD tracking - so didn't want to force people to use everything to make it work. And because this section is fluid with the players listed in that section, it makes it tricky to automatically keep track of them, which is why there is no link to the Portfolio sheets.

We will probably look to add this in a future update, even if it means manually entering and updating an amount now that IPD's are becoming much more important.

Yes, I see no reason why you couldn't add them into the Trading Tracker total dividends.

      No problem with the questions!

    • RE: Football Index spreadsheet??

@Uncle-G That's correct yes :) You can delete the contents of the cell showing the error if you like, as that won't effect anything else and will keep things looking a bit tidier.

    • RE: Football Index spreadsheet??

@Uncle-G Hi mate, so end of month value is your current portfolio value plus your cash balance. And yep, that's correct for the first month you need to enter both values, and then for subsequent months it will total the running total deposit for you.

Glad you are finding it useful :)

    • RE: Spreadsheet tracker

@gball1975 If it's a spreadsheet to track your own progress, we have a free spreadsheet to download from our website. It covers your portfolio, media and performance wins/dividends, monthly analysis, ROI's and also a dedicated In-Play dividends sheet that keeps track of your player's 30 day eligibility along with making it easier to track their goals/assists/clean sheets.

You'll need to create a free account first, but then the user guides can be found at the following link:

    • RE: Hakan calhanoglu

@Valhalla Hey mate, thanks for the heads up on this. It looks like there might be an issue with the current season filter as the original dates set in the code are from the original season start/end date (curse you covid-19!). We've got our web guys on the job and hopefully they will sort that out for us ASAP.

A manual date range check for the season does pull up the correct data of 36p. Not ideal to do manually I know, but a relief to know we do have the correct data!

Cheers again for the heads up!

@SJH101 said in Footy index scout and Port:

Firstly, I have tried to sign up to the free footy index scout membership but for some reason it won't send an activation email to verify my account. I have tried this with two separate emails and neither have had an email from them. I have contacted them but no reply yet. Anyone else had this issue?

Hi, I just wanted to check that this was fixed for you yesterday and you received our email reply letting you know?

    • RE: Does anyone know how to?

@Jonah Hi mate, no problem :)

In the lower left corner, you'll see 4 arrow buttons. Click the last one and it will scroll the tabs to the end, where you'll find the IPD Tracker tab.

      0_1563004503114_Spreadsheet Tab Button.jpg

You could also delete all the other tabs/sheets by right clicking on them and selecting delete, leaving you with just the IPD Tracker, or right click the IPD sheet and select 'Move or Copy' to a new workbook - this would then give you a single sheet removing all the parts you're not going to be using.

      Hope that helps!

    • RE: Does anyone know how to?

@Jonah Apologies for any confusion. The IPD sheet is part of the full spreadsheet - it's the very last tab on the right. But it isn't linked to other parts of the spreadsheet so can be used independently without having to enter or use any data elsewhere.

    • RE: Does anyone know how to?

@Jonah Yep the IPD part is completely independent to the rest of the spreadsheet. We figured that a lot of people would want to use it just for that, so thought it best to not link it into the other parts.
