Pogba one of the United players modeling the new away kit, yet no Lukaku?
Couldn't find one that fits.

Lindlof for smalling, Fernandes for James.
@TraderJ I've invested 40k based on the current rules and regulations, I'd be a little pissed if it all changed now. The Felix one is strange, I sold my remaining shares in him at a healthy profit overnight and reinvested elsewhere, he clearly isn't cut out for the scoring matrix yet. Perhaps people find it more exciting to invest in a Felix instead of a Parejo, but that doesn't mean that the Pb system should change.
Neither. Both aren’t close to regular football and you’re therefore essentially gambling on a player.
Gambling on a player? On the football index?
Anybody else frustrated seeing Greenwood smashing in freekicks for fun in the under 23s and then we have to watch Rashy and Young line up to fire one high wide and mighty each time we get fouled outside the box? I know a lot of you have got him down as Macheda 2.0 but we could really do with him in the first team now, never mind big names in the summer. It seems counter intuitive to criticize city's use of their academy players, then chase Sancho all summer who would hold back Chong and Greenwood (who's stats at youth level are superior to Sancho's). We deffo need signings, but Ole needs to do what he promised and use our outstanding academy to our advantage. Gomes in for Mata, Greenwood for Lukaku, Laird for Young, Garner for Matic/Herrera, Chong for Sanchez, Tuanzebe for Bailey, the players are there already. Add to that Wan-bissaka in for Darmian, a top shelf center back for Jones, and there would be funds left for a shirt selling superstar.
Ok, I'll have a stab at this. Obviously, the racist abuse and chants etc that go on in Italy, eastern Europe, and to a lesser extent Spain, are revolting, and would not be tolerated here in blighty. Problem is, whilst we know that we are right, and they (a small minority) are wrong, it is difficult to dictate how another culture should behave based on our own values. Imagine the Saudis telling us we can't have a beer or a bong because they find it unacceptable. In their eyes, they'd be 100% in the right, to us, madness. I've never been a racist, Italian football fan, so I'm only speculating, but I'd imagine they would sooner tell us to mind our own business and get back to eating fried potatoes then change their attitude unfortunately. Let's hope that uefa enforces actions similar to here with CCTV, facial recognition, lifetime stadium bans to at least ensure that this kind of hatred is muted for 90 minutes at a time.
Biggest problem though, is people. Most of us are absolute shits, and even if you could magic away racism tomorrow, people would just carry on fighting, hating, shouting, taunting without pausing for breath. Catholics and protestants are the same race. Sunnis and Shiites, bloods and crips, P.N.E. and Blackpool. We're a hateful, fearful species at times, and it is horrible to see the events at the juventus game, but perhaps with so many eyes now drawn to it, some good may emerge? Italian teams thrown out of European competitions? Automatic relegation for repeat offenders? No fines ta, achieves nothing.
In an ideal world, Young, Jones, Rojo, Darmian, Valencia, Fred, Mata (sorry), Sanchez and Lukaku are all allowed to leave. Not going to happen, as half of them have been given new contracts. Smalling, Matic and Lingard have there playing time reduced, but remain important members of the squad, particularly Lingard. Tuanzebe and Fosu Mensah get their chance with the first team. Jimmy Garner, Tahith Chong, Angel Gomes, Mason Greengoat, Scott Mctominay and Andreas Pereira play more prominent roles, and the summer budget goes on a world class CB, midfielder and winger. Three new signings, and making better use of the outstanding talents from the youth academy. Not going to happen, but a man can dream.
