    • RE: A date with the FIG. Upcoming Football Index Podcast

      Nothing I have a burning desire to find out that isn't a technical IT issue, which the FIG probably won't know. But I'm glad you've been asked to go on Agatello. Nice to see some recognition for your contribution to the platform. I'll be looking forward to this one more than the other recent ones.

    • RE: Flipping - Costs & Spreadsheet experts questions

      I've gotta agree with both these replies, a 3 or 4p rise int one you should be aiming for when flipping, you literally wanna get as much as possible. However, if u don't look at the price rise and instead look at the percentage rise. The reason the example of Shaw is positive is that it's over an 80% rise. So the 2% commission isn't a big hit. But your 4p in Ceballos isn't even 4% as he's already over £1. Think percentages and if you're only gonna get a 4p rise... Either leave it, or only take it in someone who's a low price... For example a 40p player gets a 4p rise that's 10% before commission. That's a decent return on anyone.
      A good example is Jonathan Bamba who I own. I bought him at 48p as his contract is up soon and he's told the club he'll move. He's linked with prem teams and other top 5 league teams. He's not spiked yet but is gradually going up and is 6p up at 54p. So far that's a 12.5% pre commission profit, again, that's a great return and probably more to come. So look at percentages and give yourself a target of how much you would like to make. You'll see healthier profits that way.

    • RE: Is nobody on here concerned?

      @TradingJournal I upvoted that as soon as I read what you wrote about %. I hate when ppl fixate on amount of pence as it's the percentage that's the true indication of value like u say. For example, I've just sold my Diego Reyes at 9p profit, doesnt seem like much but it worked out at just over 14% return, which if u get for all your trades you'd be doing excellent.

    • RE: £500 on one player...

      I'd go one of two ways... Be boring and go for Neymar and take the MB and PB's and potentially a small rise if he leaves PSG in the summer. Or I'd go the other side of the scale and go for Fellaini. 65p. Out of contract, definitely leaving. Been linked with PSG and biggest links suggest Monaco and with him having a world cup in the summer and Belgium being a stick on to get through the group stages it gives him a few different methods to rise from his low price. Even up to 75p gives him a 15% profit before commission. So I'd be confident of that.

    • RE: Cheap Players

      Another prime example of how there are opportunities everywhere... Diego Reyes of Porto. He's a Uruguay centre half and I'll 95% certainty be at the world cup. And Uruguay have just had two bad injuries to centre halves. So he'll likely start. And again he's at a low price of 64p. Definitely some potential to rise considering Uruguay are very likely to romp their group and keep clean sheets along the way. This is one I fancy to get to at least 90p before/during the group stages.... Nearly 33% rise... Would be lovely. Always new opportunities based on the situations that arise.

    • RE: Now what?

      I'm depositing but gotta choose wisely cos some players are overpriced. But a couple of my PB players for next season have now become overpriced, I've listed and sold them and will buy back in when the sell off I think will happen, happens.

    • RE: Renato Tapia

      @NewUser109195 @Agatello
      I'd argue a better and cheaper option is the Peruvian left back Miguel Trauco. He was (in my opinion) their best and most consistent player at the WC, is cheap at around the 40p mark, has went AWOL from flamengos training since the world cup finished. Has publicly said he wants to leave, has publicly said he wants to move to Europe. And has been fairly heavily linked with Bordeaux. Even if he was to go to a non PB European league he'd still rise but his price literally has to go up if he moved to Ligue1. More chance of a return and seemingly a quicker return I would assume also.

    • RE: Outstanding bonus payments

      I was one of the ppl to complain I didn't get my bonus, credit where credits due, after a long time waiting on a reply they informed me I opted in with a different email to that of me setting up my FI account, as soon as we clarified this they credited my account. Credit where credits due they fixed it straight away. I don't have faith in CS at all but they fixed this as soon as we realised the confusion.

    • RE: Has anyone got their bonuses yet?

      @NewUser162554 I'm the same, sent an email and contacted CS on twitter twice and got no reply. The product is great but ive found CS to be extremely poor, I'm not likely to remove my money as I do believe in the product but things like this really do make you think that even with a great product, if it's not being managed properly then it could still be destined to fail.
