@Ringers It's where you can scan and then extract data from a website.
So if i webscraped football index i could find all the player prices and put them in a table.
Or something like that.
Thankgod i dont need to dive any deeper thanks to indexedge.
@HPcoys I accept that them resigning hummels has had an impact on the other dortmund defenders but I think 4 games in is a short time to make a proper assessment. Akanji is class and I've no doubt he will win some PB. I certainly wouldn't sell at a loss.
@NewUser297678. Definitely one to watch for the new season. lots and lots of value in that squad with him at the helm. Just a shame that the pb scores were generally pretty poor last year apart from werner and halstenberg.
That should change with his back 3. Hoffenheim had the 4th highest average possession last year in the bundesliga, leipzig had the 8th. 2nd and 3rd were dortmund and levekusen and the pb favoured akanji and tah very favourably. Its just a ball bag picking from halstenberg, klostermann, upe and konate, given all their scores bar halstenberg were pretty poo. Fancy upe to make a comeback for pb divs next year should he stay injury free.
Salah, Neymar, VVD, De Ligt, Messi
(Messi and Ney cos Copa starts in 2 weeks)
De Ligt big transfer pending
Neymar potential transfer pending
Salah just always in the media
VVD deserves the media - beast.
Maybe coutinho if he moves but reckon the 5 above will dominate MBs overall.
@Finlay77 Interesting thanks for responding. Very valuable.
Been reading some of your old comments and can see the reasoning behind those two playersfor sure.
Yeh realised recently just how cyclical Fi is and how i need to maximise cycles.
The more excel you do the better imo.
Recently calculated all the percentage size drops wise for end of season pb player price falls bought the biggest droppers when they bottomed out and am now reaping the rewards as they rise again.
Have exit points for these holds ready and buys for next cycle already lined up.
you think Pogba would be £5 in a market which has encountered a recent share split??
His price is largely driven by MB which was principally fueled by 2 things; being at Man Utd (Biggest media darling club) & his feud with Mourinho (who's no longer there). He got some PB from being the main man & given penalties. If he leaves all those value drivers have gone & there will be precious little to hold up his price.
PB dividends - but I would prefer a greater number of winners.
The bonuses are not only artificial, they are counterproductice for decent scouts.
It amounts to giving away "winnings" to "bankers".
Those with the greatest purchasing power benefit most.
This is not why I joined the index !
The frequency of deposit bonuses was shameful, the summer bonus is shameful.
I would be interested in knowing if there are investors who have made more profit through these bonuses than they have through dividends ?
When you're sitting on a two man cash table playing poker with the Sultan of Brunei you're going to lose.
This was evident with MB and the high pricing of regular winners pre-split.
It is now evident with the frequency of such bonuses.
I've said it before. I'll say it again.
To benefit everyone here, to go global, to become a household talking point the world over.....this platform has to work for the poor kid in the favella who invests a tin of change in his favorite young Brazilian.
We'll get there by rewarding performances on the pitch - PB.
We will get nowhere fast by giving free money to those with large pots of cash to drain FI (and it's investors) by doing nothing at all.
In fact, how are Spurs fans feeling about winning it & potentially losing your manager?
If we win it I'd be over the moon!! Managers come and go, but this would be the biggest and best achievement in our history. For what it's worth I'd be mightily surprised if Poch left. He always makes these sorts of comments at the end of the season - basically saying to Levy don't take me for granted.
