And he starts!

So after the Tanganga problems yesterday, I seem to currently be making some free money.
When his IPO dropped yesterday I had the same issues as others. However, I had tried to buy 54 shares, but it put through 2 transactions of 54 shares. I didn't have money in my account at the time, so it took it off my profit.
I emailed CS and haven't had a reply yet, but 108 shares are showing in my port, bought at 85p, but the money taken from my profit has gone back in.
Essentially means I currently have 108 shares for £45.90!
Have him in sell queue with probably thousands of others, but I don't think there's a way I can't make profit on him!
Was very annoyed with the IPO yesterday, but now a little happier!
RE: IPOs Incoming. Full List Here
@Dr-Jan-Itor exactly the same as me, apparently I have bought double the amount of my balance at 86p, but he isn't in my port, my port value hasn't gone up and he is up a crazy amount. I am gonna ask fi for my money back on this if I get shares at 4 quid when it says I have them at 86p
Lirola and the most tenuous plan imaginable
So, I am sitting on around 20% ROI from Pol Lirola after holding for 24 hours. Anyway, thought I would go into the very very weird (and probably wrong) reasons to get on him.
Other than the fact I rate him, I think he's easily a 70p player in the next few months. If he gets into that bracket by the end of the season, then if my guesses are right, it works out even better.
That FI called the current offer 'Transfer Window Dividends', not 'January Transfer Window Dividends' or Winter Transfer Window Dividends', could be telling. This implies that we may also get these dividends in the summer off season.
Pol Lirola is on loan to Fiorentina, and depending on which article you read, have either an option or an obligation to buy. Loan contract ends 30 Jun.
My thinking is if he is anyone who is within about 30p of the £1 qualifying price will be pounced on once the papers start mentioning the transfer.
Essentially, not bothered about actually getting the dividend, but the cap app from people after a dividend.
Told you it was tenuous
RE: How’s it ACTUALLY going for you?
I have had a decent January, essentially due to an increase in Joan Jordan and a PB win and general great 24 hours for Riyad Mahrez. Some small increases across most of my port, but I didn't have a great December so just levelling out.
I got paid on the 23rd Dec so it's a long month until payday, which is probably the deciding factor for a lot of people. Any FI promotion would have passed me by.
RE: Ban on credit card gambling...
I can see why people would if it's a couple of days before payday and they see someone at value(as a lot of FI is about buying at the right time.) Having said that, I totally understand that for addicts, it wouldn't necessarily be small amounts they can afford.
I just wonder how effective this would be. Surely someone could just do a money transfer from their credit card and then pay on their current account? People will always find a way around it.
