All we need now is a poll from @Dalian-Smith

      Let's keep it simple.

      Was Vesp rightly banned?

      Yes or no.

After that, we accept the majority decision and move on.

Apart from I won’t accept him being banned. I won’t go on about it but I won’t accept it and will now be very weary of what goes on, on this forum.

Mate I like Vesp but he was basically attempting to recruit new Footstock sign ups , blatantly, at the detriment of FI.
You just can't expect to do that and get away with it. He's on Twitter, so why not just do it there? The answer is he is won't be bothered about being banned from here because he's obviously got his heart set onleaving the platform

A very dangerous president has now been set!

That happened when Trump assumed office.

    • Good news for Arsenal fans

Sky sports introducing artificial “crowd noise” means for the first time there’ll be an atmosphere at the Emirates.
How about that then Arsenal season ticket holders. Get a refund and get a better atmosphere in your living room. Win win.

      @Mintyfresh

      1. For 30-60 year olds to fill their dwindling social lives.
      2. For 30-60 year olds to avoid their missus’/boyfriends as much as possible.
      3. To tear Football Index and/or Adam Cole a new one every time the garden isn’t rosy and our portfolios aren’t at least maintaining equal growth with ageing torsos.

I did say yesterday that I understood and respected a few people’s decisions to back out and I absolutely stand by that.
However, I feel it’s a just reward for those that didn’t check out yesterday.

Calm down lads. It’s all on opta.
As if FI are going to pull a stroke, particularly after they went out of their way to pay Neymar being under no obligation to do so. It’s not the first time they’ve made gesture of goodwill payments either.

@Dan-The-Man It’ll take more than a share split for traders to find Jordan Henderson an attractive proposition. Even his missus regularly has doubts.

If we sell to demand not a lot changes. Unless of course we hold players that will never be in demand. This new world is just going to require more patience rather than offloading a poor trade at a small loss whenever we like.

@dionysusthyrsus Not really worth comparing Maddison and Grealish for pb. One plays for a team outperforming Man City and the other plays for a side averaging a point per game.

I'm involved now.... The price gap to Greenwood is too large not to get involved.

These 2 are both hyped youngsters at the No.1 & No.2 clubs in England.

Spot on Eric. Just surprising that the kid at the number 2 club is more expensive 😉

Can’t this not be solved simply by FI removing the pumping list? I cannot believe it’s still there. It’s like giving new customers a rope.

@Maradonaman if the fun stops, stop. Would advise selling up slowly though and obviously, would be useful to air your suggestions for improvement in case FI happen to read this thread.

The saying "If the fun stops... stop", arguably highlights a major flaw in the platform.

You can't really stop, even if you want to, when the only way out is to take gigantic losses.

Even at a massive loss, many don't have enough IS orders available to stop...

True that mate, if I wanted out of Tim K or Moutinho or Mehdi Taremi, it just wouldn't remotely be possible. There isn't even an IS on any of them... and Wolves are on a bronze night tomorrow.

Clearly people don’t see any of those players as likely dividend winners any time in the future. But if they do you’ll be able to sell them.

@TeamGB said in Tell me the good news....:

@SDOAFIT Not many players are regular dividend winners so most of the market isn’t helped by rising dividends though. Also, hopefully there won’ be a drop in the market if FI delist all the shares in the queue when they make changes as that should push prices up. If they change the delta to say 100 shares for a 1p rise then that may get the market moving quickly. I can’t see many people overreacting if there are falls unless they IS which would be there only choice and they’d taken an absolutely huge hit which is throwing away a lot of money.

Every single player that’s worth more than £0.00 is “helped by rising dividends”.

@Highfields96 So with no market movement likely in future and only a handful of regular dividend earners, what do you see happening with new traders? This isn’t a good look is it with no market movement or cap app non existent?!

There’s lots of positive movement but almost only on the sell price. The sooner the buy price gets replaced by sell orders the better as many wrongly believe that it is what a player is worth or believing that’s what they should be selling for.

@Dan-The-Man yes i agree we didnt expect it to get removed but no one expect COVID to come along and shut down the country either and thats what caused all of this

I think you're conflating two issues.

FI's reaction to COVID was to massively widen the spread. A move we all praised. Football was about a week away from returning when they removed IS, it's been back months and there's no sign of them reverting the change. The system they've put in place is more profitable for them, so why would they change?

Is it more profitable for them though Dan? I’m not convinced, yes they’ve removed a huge liability but in the past people would buy overpriced new shares straight from FI because there was no real risk because of the IS. Now they aren’t minting that many new shares (their main revenue stream). Since the pre dividend increase hype barely any players have reached new peak prices and as the platform and traders mature they’ll be taking less and less shit value. I expect they’re surprised at the lack of market buying especially given all the current promos.
It’s heading towards commission v dividend trading. Therefore they’re going to need buckets of commission, trading in volume, which will require lots of liquidity.

Baptiste Santamaria - Angers boss admitted that they are preparing for the season without him. 13 million euros will get him, and Leicester, Tottenham and Spurs are all sniffing about.

I can’t see Leicester following up their ‘interest’.
Should come down to Tottenham and Spurs fighting it out and knowing them neither will win.
