139 for ederson which was only 29 less than the best of the other city defenders laporte. Dont think the changes will lead to many actual dividends but it gives them a chance and makes them more competitive and im happy with that
Thiago Alcántara seems to be a bit unfashionable at the moment and people seem to think he will lose out with the PB matrix changes, but his PB average was bettered only by Messi, Neymar and Kimmich last season, and I believe he will continue to post monster scores. £2.12 for a proven PB beast is a bargain.
Son Heung Min at £1.53 looks good value at the moment for me as well - he's capable of very big PB scores when he's on fire.
Agreed, Alcantara is a PB monster. Just looks at his dividends and PB scores ppl 👍🏻
@Webbinho I went on facundo fererya - always served me well on FM and I didn't realise he'd left Shaktar till I saw him score for Espanyol last night. And he signed for Benfica before that! He's on loan this season... scored 2 and assisted one last night. 31p for a striker who is bound to have a couple of good games and get IPD spike. perhaps one for @Westy
It works both ways really. You could say he has more chance of winning PB when he plays in defence as he passes more and makes more tackles, interceptions etc.
Playing up front he has more chance of scoring , but then still gets clean sheet points.
So a good hold either way I’d say.
'In the event of a tie in Match Day Rankings, the footballer with the more recent date of birth will rank higher. If the date of birth is the same, the footballers’ names will be ranked alphabetically starting with the first name.'
Although those are clearly the rules, & have been as long as I've been participating, it's not what's happening; there must be a coding fault as Alena is clearly younger than Eriksen & Sule was also younger than Hastelberger but neither was paid out correctly according to the rules.
I am still waiting for anything from Sule several days after FI failed to implement their own clear & unambiguous rules correctly - I accept mistakes & errors can happen but what's really important is how you react & rectify them once those errors have been highlighted & I'm afraid FI's track record in this field is simply woeful & clearly not getting any better.
The sites success is built on trust & confidence so episodes like this are simply counter productive & illustrate how second rate the checks & balances in the system really are. Top management also need to do far more to professionalise the whole operation IMHO but I seriously doubt whether they are upto the job.
