With the dust having settled on the pre season hype around Brewster after his scoring spree in friendly matches, I feel there is an opportunity here.

There is a clear gap between 3 of the kids on the fringes of LFC first team.

      Brewster 2.17
      Elliott 2.10
      Jones 1.42

As a Liverpool fan, these prices look lopsided to me and I’ve duly loaded up with 800 shares of Jones.

Curtis Jones always stands out when I see him play, he looked assured and confident when playing in the league cup (scored winning pen against Arsenal in front of the kip) and he is expected to captain the side in LeagueCup QF against Villa (see Neil Jones goal article).

He is playing well in the U23’s as captain of the side and very highly thought of at the club. What’s more he was included in the match day squad in the UCL match against Genk whereas no place for Brewster or Elliott.

Jones appears to be knocking on the door a lot harder than Brewster currently, while Elliott still needs more time to bed in and develop.

I expect some volatility in the coming weeks with a potential loan deal for Brewster in Jan and more chances for minutes in the first team with this relentless schedule coming up.

Now is the dangerous time for all three as they will be expected to deliver on their potential to an extent. How will the market react?

      Let’s see.

But I believe Curtis Jones has great chance to climb above the other two in the FI pecking order.

I also took 100@3.23 this week... he has a good few years yet, long contract at Madrid and we could soon be looking at a long stretch of football.

    • RE: Marko Pjaca - 44p

@MUFC I also had the concern that he could stay in Belgium for another season, especially with Vincent Kompany persuading him about his vision for the club blah blah

but if he performs well and a bigger club comes for him I’m sure he’d want to leave the juliper league. Would be speculation at every window

Quite a few exit points and upside with Pjaca I think regardless if he decides to stay in Belgium for 20/21

Let’s see if he gets a decent run of form in next few weeks

Jones, Brewster and Elliott will travel to Qatar for Club World Cup! Didn’t expect that... was hoping they’d get a run out against Villa in League Cup.

      How will market react?

    • RE: Anyone Know Why Rooney Has Risen Today?

Good news either way, I think people are planning for media opening up and Rooney joining Derby in Jan. Media will be all over it...

I picked up 1000 at 55p yesterday morning.

      Nicolae Stanciu 27p

26 year old attacking mid for Romania, will be playing champions League football with Slavia Prague.

Nightmare group though with Barca/inter/Dortmund but is on set prices and Romania play Malta on Sunday.

I stocked up on Moutinho before Burnley game, he seemed good value at 53p, nice games for Portugal coming up too... What's your educated opinion on the Wolves value players?

The Atalanta talisman was considering retirement after personal issues recently, haven’t heard any news since but I’ve noticed his spread is tightening 1.28-1.53 (was 0.75-1.51). I’m a holder after some sneaky bids on ME...

Question is, take the profit or hold into new season?

@MUFC only 95p now, 1.20 if he comes to lower Premier league side IMO 1.40+ if it’s Chelsea

    • RE: Have we bottomed out yet?............

The markets been very stable due to the spreads once we get smaller spreads, more IS’s go through and also depending on real world news there will be more volatility. Patience and a strong gut still required.

I like the logic but not sure if Hendo will get the headlines. Salah or Mane maybe? Imagine there will also be transfer rumours on these two as well
