    • Value at Koln (Uth, Cordoba, Kainz)

Kolns form since mid December has been excellent. They have won 6 of the last 8
with the 2 defeats coming against Bayern and Dortmund. They have scored 19 goals in those 8 matches.

Now that relegation fears seem to have disappeared (for the time being at least). I think 3 of their attackers offergood potential cap app and IPD value.

      Mark Uth £0.92
Uth is my favourite of the 3 i have listed. He has played 5 matches for Koln since joining from Schalke on loan in January. In those 5 games he has returned a goal or an assist in each including a goal against each of Bayern and Dortmund.
He takes set pieces and scored a free kick in Kolns 5-0 away win on Saturday.
On current form he is one of the best IPD buys i have seen and cant see him being below £1 for long.

      Jhon Cordoba £0.69
Cordoba flirted with winning pb dividends on Saturday having scored 2 and assisting 1 scoring a PB score of 242. This was his second 200+ pb score in his last 5 matches. I doubt there are many players under £1 that can say that let alone under £0.70. He has 5 goals in his last 5 appearances. Again given Kolns goalscoring form in particular he appears quite underpriced.

      Florian Kainz £0.44
Kainz' price has been suppressed due to recurring injuries in the first half of the season which prevented him getting a run in the team. On Saturday he scored twice and assisted once. He was also taking corners. He recorded a 200 PB score. He has a good shot at making the Euros with Austria and, if he nails down his spot in the team which I expect he will after his strong performance on Saturday, he is easily a 60-80p player with another good showing.

Koln have a series of generous fixtures including Paderborn next Friday which will give the three players a chance to sparkle against the worst side in the Bundesliga with a little more market attention due to the scarcity of matches that night.

As is probably clear I am balls deep in Koln...

    • RE: Anyone got any suggestions for Sub £1.50 strikers? (Pump me, no homo)

      Jhon Cordoba 87p Koln.

Has 10 goals in last 10 Bundesliga games and 2x 200+ PB scores.

    • RE: Renato Sanches

Up to £2.10 now possibly from some discussion today on Twitter. Ive got on anyway. Hope he gets a wave that some others have had in recent weeks. His recent PB alone warrants it in my view

Certainly more of an obvious target than Moussa Diaby for example who has risen to £2.40+

@KingJimoT 26 and surely that isnt a drawback for a sub £1 forward.

By way of comparison look at his price, goals and pb peaks against Volland mentioned above. Looks real value.

    • RE: Raphael Guerreiro v Ashraf Hakimi

      @Gregolocky

Fair point. I did some research to check and from Twitter I can see that Guerreiro's change from Def to Mid was in Nov 19 at some point. Which shows that 4 of his 5 peaks above were post the change. See his scores from index gain below:

    • Brandt to follow Gnabry and Davies

There has been a real focus recently on youth performing in the CL spotlight. Davies and Gnabry have both had big rises off the back of good CL performances. Through December and January, Brandt was gaining real traction in the market reaching £3.05. This was combined with a run of good performances goals and assists. He got injured at the start of Feb and combined with the recent market slump dropped to £2.60. I think he has been overlooked following yesterdays announcement. He is back at £2.67 but i think a good performance tonight and he will be back to £3 in the coming weeks. He is 23 and a starter for Germany. Not many more attractive propositions for the price imo.

One caveat is that up to January he had been playing in a new deep role which had helped him achieve some good PB base scores. Now Dortmund have signed Emre Can for this role, Brandt has been allowed to return to his more advanced role. This may mean a lower pb average but better chance of goals and assists to hit pb peaks.

Disclaimer: I own (but genuinely do think he is a good buy at a what seems a 10% discount)

    • Nicolas Pepe - Next season

Please can I have some opinions on Pepe as a buy for next season? I think he has shown promising signs in year 1 and Arteta looks to be gradually turning things around at Arsenal.

      Has he got £3+ potential?

    • RE: marcel sabitzer ceiling price???

Agree with a lot of whats been said here. I posted this om twitter last month. Personally value if around £3.50.

His PB scores are excellent and has delivered dividends
He is the main man for his country
He is linked to Arsenal and Spurs

Importantly has excellent fixtures for the remainder of the season. The best strength of schedule in the league.

He will likely win PB again before the end of the season with the low number of matches on bronze and silver days and his high involvement in games.

Great post couldn't agree more. I tweeted about Europa League confirmation making Renato Sanches even more value than he already was. Nice little discount atm.

    • RE: Renato Sanches

I think that is an excellent illustration of how his price would have been more comparable to those 4 had the season not been halted. The lower price is pretty stark in comparison especially when Sanches plays in the farmers league.

    • RE: Value at Koln (Uth, Cordoba, Kainz)

With the optimism that the Bundesliga might return as early as May 9th I have been trying to find who is likely to hit the ground running and get a nice rise with all the focus that will be on the German teams in the FI market if they are the only teams playing. Most of the obvious guys have already seen nice rises. I think Jhon Cordoba in particular at £0.87 is very undervalued following Mark Uths position change from Forward to Midfielder.

      Here are some more reasons:
