@ScouseSte and @Ericali thanks for the advice - and don’t worry, you’re preaching to the converted about Neymar mate 😂

Thanks for the welcome all, and of course for the advice! You’ve given me a few ideas, so we’ll see how the next month or so goes. Can’t wait to get into it properly now. Best of luck to you all with your ports too!

@NewUser402517 I reckon he’s got a bit more of a rise until the move is confirmed, but could then be a big sell-off so you’ll need to time your exit right. Good luck!

    • RE: Pogback?

Wow, very different opinions here haha! Personally, I think Pogba will be a regular for Utd for the rest of the season and whatever happens he's always good for some headlines, so I've dabbled a little in him. Anyway, I'm still a pretty new user on a fairly limited budget, so I'm trying out a few players and strategies to work out what I'm going to do best with. If I'm wrong then I won't lose what I can't afford, but I'll hope we get some more new users thinking the way I do next month

    • Pogback?

So, with the news that Paul Pogba should be fit by the new year and Man Utd finding form again, does anyone else see a sub-£6 Pogba as a good investment?

    • RE: What's happened to man city this year?

@Ericali Umtiti could also be a good shout - I’ve got a few shares in him too in case. Ideal situation for my port is that Umtiti goes to City so Barca sign Skriniar!

    • RE: What's happened to man city this year?

@Ericali yeah, agreed - what do you reckon about Milan Skriniar? Been linked before (as well as with Barca and RM) and highly-rated, still young for a CB which Pep should like, but not in his best form at times this season and Ranocchia has been quietly excellent with Godin and de Vrij, so Inter could be prepared to sell in January. Could be worth a punt at 90p...

    • Strategies for new players

Hi all, I've just joined FI in time to miss out on the Alli/Grealish booms. Since I won't make a quick few quid buying them up, I was wondering if anyone had advice for strategies/players for a new player to pursue.

I'm thinking of a port consisting mainly of young players whose prices have room for improvement and a few more regular PB scorers. Feel free to recommend all the players you hold a load of - rookies are there to be taken advantage of ;)

I'm also not looking to plough too much cash in initially, especially as I'm still learning as I go, so cheaper options are better.

      Thanks for any tips!
