No problem - seems like a good (if accidental!) find!
Post about it on one of the Newcastle blogs too: https://www.nufcblog.com/2019/08/05/reports-newcastle-linked-with-versatile-international-full-back/
Positive write up:
“Newcastle have now been linked with Bordeaux right-back Youssouf Sabaly. Sabaly recently starred for Senegal in the Africa Cup of Nations and is a product of the Paris Saint-Germain youth academy.
One of the big positives about Sabaly is that he is equally adept at playing left-back as well as on the right. He plays on the left internationally.
He can also play further forward on both flanks. He should cost in the £10-15m range.
The twenty-six-year-old may be seen as a better option to Swede Emil Krafth who Newcastle are reportedly still trying to pry from SC Amiens. Krafth would be seen as cover for the right wing-back position though Sabaly would seem to be an upgrade.
He has twelve caps for Senegal but appeared for France in all of the international youth levels. Watford are also reportedly very interested in the Sabaly as they continue to chase his international teammate Ismaila Sarr from Rennes.
Bordeaux would also seem to be a motivated seller. They have ready replacements at both right-back and left-back with Enock Kwateng (Nantes) and Loris Benito (Young Boys) both joining on free transfers this summer. Sabaly’s profile right now is as high as it has ever been and he has just two years remaining on his contract.”
