January Boom 2019
Apologies if this has already been covered but I’m hearing a lot of people saying about the boom that took place on FI in Jan 2019. What were the reasons for this and are you expecting the same boom in Jan 2020?

RE: Pablo Fornals
@Munchie63 that is a fair assessment of the 2 players but I would argue that Fornals will play further forward than Ward-Prowse and be a more creative influence, hence his 15 assists in the last 2 seasons compared to just 3 for JWP.
I would compare him more to a player like James Maddison. JM is inflated due to his age and nationality but I can see Fornals coming in and having a similar impact in the PL.
Who am I expecting to increase in value more next season is a no-brainer for me.

Pablo Fornals
Seems to be a pretty done deal with a £24m transfer from Villareal to West Ham. He looks to be exactly the type of West Ham player the fans would adore ala Di Canio/ Payet.
West Ham now have stability with a proven manger so I am expecting another top10 finish. Plenty of goals in their team with Arnie, Anderson + a new striker presumably on his way.
Fornals, along with Lanzini, should be the creative quality needed to open up resilient defences in the PL.
At just 23 years of age he has broken into the full Spain international squad too. Hoping for big things in the new season and the bigger clubs will come snooping as usual in 1-2 seasons time.
Anyone got any views on this player?
