Funny that very few seem to be able to follow instructions and write one sentence!

    • RE: Adam Cole tweet

@ScouseSte Yes completely agree anything less than 50% is not good enough given FI have now removed a massive liability in not buying back shares themselves. I think they had to do this now as whales that bought in years ago could cash in now and may have caused a major problem.

@Staggz88 100 free Neymars for anyone that’s been in FI for over a year.

    • RE: I can’t believe how naive people are!!!

It’s basically down to pure greed which I’ve said on here before. As people aren’t seeing the market booming every single day, there are certain new types of punters that have the interest and attention span of the guy you’ll see on the fixed odds terminals in a bookies. The savvy punter on here will see the overall trend is still on the up and rise this out as we’ve always done. People have moaned numerous times since I’ve been on here a year ago and the market still increases. Currently up 120% on my initial £5,000.

    • Incredible bargains to be had??

Just trying to put a positive spin on all of this, I know many are well down tonight including myself. Because of this mad panic and the lemmings following each other over a cliff edge, surely there’s going to be some ridiculous money made now?

    • RE: Now the dust has settled, what happens next?

@Richio They won’t just gain from our perceived losses. They will push up the prices for all of us and improve the liquidity of the market. Let’s see by the end of September how things are. If the market hasn’t rose by at least 10% by then I’ll be very surprised.

    • RE: OFFERS – Will Lead to Purge, but will be Good for the Future

@Geronimo159387 No reputable firm would use EDD’s to slow down withdrawals. You only hear that with dodgy online casinos that end up going bust. There’s no truth that FI will do such a thing and if they did it would backfire with hugely negative press.

    • RE: An open letter to Adam Cole

Despite all the intense negativity on here and Twitter, I can safely say in the three years I’ve been on this platform, we’ve been through these tough times before. Every time FI find a way to put things right and share prices have continued to rise at an incredible rate over those few years. This lull was a very common sight a couple years back and now it’s looked at in horror. I’m very confident in three years time that the market and many players will be massively up with plenty of opportunities to sell out on your holds. Clearly if you need the cash ASAP then it’s a problem but that’s the risk with gambling I’d say. I still can’t think of a better and more fun place to hold money for the next few years. If it’s causing too much stress then perhaps it’s time the fun has stopped...

    • RE: Who would walk away

I think now is one of the worst times to walk away as this is a low time. Things will only boom again like they always have and those who have left - I can almost guarantee they’ll want to rush back once they realise they’re not happy with the 0.1% in the bank.

Just sent my letter by 2nd class post. Fingers crossed! Police questioned why I was out and said it was essential business.

2026 World Cup is in the USA. Can imagine him wanting to be involved if he’s in the MLS still then! Never say never, he’ll be 39.

    • RE: What’s wrong with fi?

I think now the pandemic is going to be majorly coming under control within months and people returning to work from furlough, people will regain confidence to invest on mass again. People returning to stadiums will also help and advertising will return to the grounds, public transport, etc. I think sentiment will turn soon once all the recent changes really sink in. All markets have ups and downs and things will undoubtedly improve soon I’m very sure of it.

@StephenD All I Hope is that Adam Cole has been woken up if he’s already gone to bed so they can sort something out without delay.

@Pez People are panicking as they’re reading Twitter comments probably and a lot of misinformation going around. Can only suggest now is not the time to act in haste otherwise there could be massive regret in the morning.

@NewUser503685 Think very very carefully before you do that as it’s not a real loss until you’ve sold. If you’ve bought for three years bets like me then you should hold. FI will have to come out tomorrow and do something about this. I’d say whatever you do don’t sell tonight and take time to think before making such a huge decision.

    • RE: Well done FI, you just destroyed a good product

Seems the madness has stopped and the market is stabilising now. I’m sure FI must be looking at this now and planning some move of some sorts ASAP? Unless you’re completely bonkers you’ll realise prices can’t just keep dropping as dividends underpin the market. Prices are now surely at least incredible value for players capable of winning dividends. FI need to sort this way prices are displayed out though.

It would be absolute madness to sell up a paper loss tonight for an actual loss when the market will rebound.

Harry Kane at £4.30?? Please someone now tell me how he could possibly be undervalued. The guy will easily return his value over the term of the bet. Prices are surely too low now?
