@FairlyNewUser personally I disagree, I think Depay is probably under valued at Lyon. Only way he sustains his price PB wise is if he left to PSG. He moves the PL, he becomes a worse PB hold. Currently he is the main man at Lyon, everything goes through him, set pieces etc. He would lose a lot of that by moving to a bigger club
@9stevo It’s not exactly been the 25% growth people were hyping up last month! Couldn’t have been much flatter for most.
Yip I was expecting a rocket to the moon this January after what I’ve heard. My port has been up and down a few quid each day.
January is a pretty flat month in a lot of businesses so no reason to think FI would be any different.
The thing is though, it was the expectation of a big January that made December enormous. I had my best ever month in December which defies all normal logic. It’s become self fulfilling. I’m looking forward to November 2020 when people start saying “last Dec was enormous, I’m getting in early to take advantage of the boom!”
@Vespasian32 That theory makes sense. The logic of that position is that the premise that FI have sold the concept on - Value in Players is derived in their ability, now or in the future, to produce dividends is a model that doesn't work for FI as far as raising sufficient profits to make the product sustainable.
Constant promotions is any market place is not often a sign of health.
It's a 3 year investing (gambling) programme so I like buying cheap and selling for profit, surprising how many will buy on a price increase. Sadly this means being too stubborn to buy Haaland and Mianamo.
That said, there's much more profit focusing on capital Increases than dividends.
I'm currently stacked with players that have enjoyed their winter break.
I will be selling most of these at the right time and buying the right non EU players as they CRASH out of the champions league.
Neymar and Messi are of particular interest.
The older players such as Higuain, Suarez, Cavani and Di Maria should best value.
@Wolvesfan1980 £3 plus.... hilarious, I hold a large chunk of Skov. 2.40 max if the positional change happens and he continues with scoring and assisting. For the foreseeable future..£1.90 in the next 3 months is his top emd
I have a very cynical view of PR. Can't imagine they'd release it if it looked bad. Can't imagine it's too close to the truth.
I can imagine the panic like when I was at school and the teachers were aware that Ofsted were carrying out am inspection.
It's like when hospitals have their pre announced inspections.
Just where does all that crap that litters the corridors disappear to?**
By that you mean the patients yea? 😨
No room in the wards anymore!
Haha I was going to end my comment with 'and that's not just the patients'.
More cages, trolleys full of all sorts of shite. Most found in the quieter corridors not regularly used by patients and visitors. It all magically disappears.
You will see the occasional patient backed up on a busy emergency department. But my experience is that all departments will pull out all the stops to prevent this. They do their best with the resources they get.
More a worry for me is the pressures to clear beds mean patients can be discharged too soon. But we're getting far to serious here.
I don’t find the forum negative at all, sure there are threads where people are critical or maybe looking for a few different opinions which imo isn’t a bad thing. I’ve posted a couple myself when things aren’t quite going to plan for me and I’ve always had sensible advice. I’m not on twitter but I can imagine it’s pretty negative on there at times.
I wouldn’t be on FI if it wasn’t for the forum as I find it a great help.
