@MikeWagner well they have changed the bet. If they now said we are now changing the sell commission to 15% then they have changed the rules again and everyone's hold would be worth much less. They are able to do what they like and that's the worry not the fact I can't shift 7 of my players.

RE: 🎙️🐼 FigCastExtra
@The-FIG Hi FIG. I don't understand why you needed to try and mock my last video that I shared on twitter just because I have a difference of opinion to you. I disagree with your valuations on certain players but I don't post on your pod thread saying how what you say is disgusting and incorrect and you're misinforming the masses. We all have different opinions so why can't we be civil to each other. You tried to humiliate me on your pod before and it's very childish and boring. Just because I have £700 in the platform doesn't mean that my opinion isn't worth as much as someone who has more money in the platform.
Surely there are a lot of traders that have hundreds of pounds in the platform and you saying I don't have enough skin in the game to bother listening to is making a mockery of anyone like me who wants to play with hundreds.
Also getting people to down vote my video and leave nasty comments is just childish.

My latest Football Index video on RISK
In this video I talk how players are much riskier bets now and how we need to tread carefully and what Football Index will do next.

RE: This new systems rubbish change my mind
I agree with most on here that the simple fact is that they have changed the bet. Before they offered instant sell and now they don't. All everyone kept telling me was "sell up" if you don't like it. So I tried and managed to sell my bigger holds and from my 32k portfolio I now only have 3k invested in some donkeys that I can't shift (which I bought because of the super match points) and my trusty Ruben loftus Cheek, gundogan and silvan widmer (the last three I won't sell).
Covid was the real spoiler because fi weren't planning to roll out order books for months and we could have sold our smaller holdings fine but them shutting off instant sell immediately buggered us with smaller holds. Many people keep saying that they protected out ports but the reality is they protected themselves and I get it but people saying that we knew order books were coming in didn't know for nearly 2 years and to rush a matching engine isn't fair. Also the 2% commission on matched bids is another massive hit to our ports and unless I'm wrong that wasn't mentioned anywhere in the build up to orderbooks? That is enough for me to realise they can do what they like whenever they like.
FI keep changing the rules and it's very hard to plan your ports accordingly. If they open up the media worldwide this will change values, if they increase divs things change. The idea of a 3 year bet is very hard to forsee when we don't know what they have planned 2 weeks ahead let alone 3 years ahead.

RE: Feeling Frustrated
@Erased-Citizen the index is a mess at the moment. You can't market sell very many players and we have just had covid and the matching engine has killed the price of soo many players. Things will definitely improve with NASDAQ and the div increase but don't worry about missing the foden and greenwood rises. Hardly anyone else has risen that much so I wouldn't feel too bothered. Stick to what you believe.

RE: 🚨#FigCast Ep 139🚨 Football Index CEO & CTO join the show
@FootstocksBetter they spoke briefly about market makers saying there would be more liquidity with NASDAQ but I genuinely don't think they care about the lower end. At one stage they said they were thinking of taking off some of the players from the low end so that they would have a better market of players for sale!!! Whatever the fuck that means. They were talking of taking them off and putting them back on if they are doing well!!! Madness.
They did say that the top 500 will be fine though, which was a big relief for the holders of 40p players!!

@AndydfopT thanks but I'm really annoyed for people that have lost money. Lots of my friends have lost money and it really frustrates me.

RE: When are prices going to stop crashing?
I have been called negative many times on the forum and that I have an agenda but I must admit I think now is a great time to buy a good chunk of players. With the totm, market makers, goalkeeper Nasdaq coming in and some crazy bargains out there I think if you pick your spots in a year's time you should be able to look back and laugh. I could be wrong but I'm sure fi will have a lot up there sleeves for us all.

@Bugsbunnies sorare and crypto as well.

RE: IS u turn
@Metropolis I think the idea that the platform would have sunk at the start of covid is a little naive to be honest. I think if they just put instant sell a little lower then FI would have made a lot of money backing there own product but sadly they didn't let people sell and then bring in order books. Those two things are what killed the index.

@Dav about two months back I think. Only for a few days.

RE: Match day deadline trial
@Wynnston they did try it before and it didn't really do very much to be honest. I would be surprised if it does much to be honest.

RE: Over 20k invested...
@AndydfopT I do. They changed all the rules when I could have made much more. Just because someone has won money doesn't mean they can't be very angry at a totally inept company.

RE: If you could...
@UncleBeard you have lost whatever you could have sold at sadly. I think a lot of people get this wrong thinking you have only lost £2k. You have also lost a lot of time and heartache.

RE: Over 20k invested...
@Dan-The-Man but surely so many bought at much lower prices too? I bought loads at £1.20

RE: Over 20k invested...
I was on FI for 2 years and just before covid I withdrew my 32k from a 6k stake. I then bought 5k worth of keepers when they were first introduced into the market and then sold fairly soon after the rise and made 2.5k and haven't dabbled since. Until I see that they are a financially stable company I can't invest another penny. The big players have been winning lots of divs recently and that may seem great for the index but with someone like Bruno winning tonight costing them around 160k is not a company I can invest in right now.
