Today is a big day for me. After more than a month from the introduction of the new system, I am back to breakeven on paper 😀😀😀
Does anyone see this TOTM is currently NOT ambitious?
The 3p, 2p, and 1p return for 7 players (out of 11) are ridiculous. Just think that your player, getting in the "prestigious" TOTM, and returns a massive 1p!
@Tom77 no chance will divs double. I'm expecting a minor increase. The market will go flat in April/May, with a deposit bonus needed to pep things up over summer. In my view the share split should've been done in late Jan when all the new users were piling in. Sadly momentum has been lost. Not a popular opinion I know...
Looking at the dividend table now, that is possible.
I 've spent sometime at the end of my day to play with numbers. Assume that the current ratio between different categories is kept and the dividend should be at least 1p. We could have SS by 4 and:
MB increases ~40% and PB doubles in this scenario. This is just an assumption, but this is a win-win strategy for everyone. I would be happy to pump extra £££ to the index if they are going to do something like this.
The SS actually does not change anything; the dividend table is the key factor. If the dividend drop by the SS factor, the player price looks cheaper, but that is a "fake" cheap because you will have to pay the same amount of money to get the same returns. -> Why should the price go up because of the SS?
Nobody complained when Rashford price went up from £5 to £13.50 (£8.5) but when his price drops by £1, the panic is everywhere. People are greedy and always want a continuous rise, but that is not possible. If a person bought a player at £5, it makes sense to sell @12.5 (the return is 150%) regardless of prior- or post- SS.
Germany resumed church service yesterday; people can go barber shops, kids heading back to school. It is very likely football is going to get a green light this Wednesday.
Italian can go to visit their relatives now. Maybe a good signal for Serie A as well.
Dont really understand the valuation, but I have doubt on the use of real-world value. How can you work it out for Kante and Pogba?
I fully understand your desire to get FI to be more attractive, but sorry, that is just IMPOSSIBLE. I can give you a simple example to show why it is impossible.
Ronaldo @ £7.29 per share (let's make it £7 for easier math) and is dropping.
@Hint He is a quality player. At present, he is a squad-rotation player as Pioli like to start with Kessie, Benacer & Calhanoglu. The good thing is that Milan will have to play several matches this season (Serie A & Europa League), so he will play 20+ games this season, but not all in the starting 11. He will definitely be the future of Milan and Italy with his quality. So, long-term hold for me.
@NewUser610639 Kane, CL and Ings play in the same position and compete for one slot as the hitman in England team (Rashford, Sterling, Sancho, Greenwood, etc. actually compete to each other).
Kane is the Captain & 1st choice. CL is way better than Ings for me. At the club level, CL is flying high and keep improving in his club. Everton in better team than Southampton. 28 year-old Ings' record in England team is nearly nothing, cant see him play any part in England team.
I don't understand the part "but maybe an Inzaghi". I personally rate Inzaghi at a higher level than Shearer and Aguero. All three are great strikers, scored a lot of goals. Shearer proved nothing outside England (and he had never played for a really big club), while Aguero has been under the shade of Messi entire his career. Only Inzaghi proved himself both at the club and national team and among three, only Inzaghi won both FIFA World Cup and UEEF Champion League!
